Ketting
Deze ketting is gevlochten met leerkoord en afgewerkt met grote eindkappen. Een groot hart is aan de voorkant bevestigd.
1.
Cut five pieces of leather cord, each measuring approx. 50cm (they must all be exactly the same length). Double over and assemble the cord ends with a small amount of Super Attak Instant Glue prior to gluing them into an end cap. (Squeeze well).

Put a small leather cord through the loop of the end cap and fasten it onto a clipboard. Put three loops onto three fingers on your left hand and two loops onto two fingers on your right hand. Keep your right index finger free.

Use your right index finger to move the loop on the far left side over and down into the middle.

The index finger on your left hand is now free.
5.
Now use your left index finger to move the loop on the far right side over and down into the middle.
6.
Tighten the loops on each side after each changed position of the loops. Continue to switch sides until the desired length of this section of the necklace is reached. This necklace has a 17cm plaited section between the two end caps. Do not let go.
7.
Shape the plaited section.
8.
Trim the ends and assemble with some glue. Squeeze well together and glue into the end cap. (Put the glue into the end cap and not onto the leather cords). Plait an identical section for the opposite side of the necklace.
9.
Use a piece of cord to tie a knot onto the loop of the end cap. Pull both ends of the cord through the heart.
10.
Pull the ends tight and use one cord end to tie a knot around itself.
11.
Cut off the other cord end close to the heart and push it inside. Cut off the cord with the knot leaving 3-4cm and push the end into the heart. Lock the two cord end knots with a small blob of glue.
12.
Close with an oval ring and a swivel clasp in one side and an oval ring in the other side.

12262 Gevlochten armband van pakpapier

Plezierige weeftechniek
Deze brede armbanden zijn gemaakt van kleurrijk cadeaupapier. Het paier is bedekt met zelfklevend plastic folie, gevouwen en in elkaar geweven.
1.
Cover the wrapping paper with book cover foil.
2.
Cut out pieces measuring 7.3cm. You will need 96 pieces to make a bracelet with an internal measurement of 16cm. The bracelet may be extended or shortened by two links in each ring.
3.
Fold lengthwise in the middle with the shiny side out and “iron” the fold with a bone folder.
4.
Fold the two sides lengthwise to the middle.
5.
Fold over in the middle.
6.
Fold the two sides in to the middle.
7.
Note that each link has an “easy” and a “difficult” side.
8.
On the “easy” side there are 4 layers of paper and on the “difficult” side there are 8 layers of paper.
9.
Insert one link into another link from the easy side.
10.
Insert the third link from the easy side and continue like this.

After a row, close with the last link.

Do not fold the last link in from the sides towards the middle lengthwise.

Insert the last link into the penultimate link as a long link and stick it around and back into the penultimate link. Use scissors or a knitting needle to help insert the links. This is how to lock and complete the ring.
14.
Tie around a link to secure a piece of cotton yarn.
15.
Three rings have been used for making these bracelets. Sew the rings together. Do not sew into the paper at all but only into the folds. It is important that the rings are pushed together with a side where two layers are showing against a side where three layers are showing. Sew the rings together from the outside. Secure the cotton yarn using the same procedure as in the beginning.

Een armband in delen gemaakt van gevlochten leerkoord, een lange ovale metalen kraal en grote eindkappen.
1.
Glue 5 pieces of leather cord, each measuring approx. 10cm, into a large end cap.
2.
Tie a piece of leather cord onto the loop of the end cap. Pull both cord ends through the bead.
3.
Tie one of the cords onto the loop of another end cap. Pull the knot tightly towards the bead.
4.
Cut off the cord without a knot close to the bead. Cut off the cord with a knot leaving approx. 3cm. Put the end inside the bead. Lock the knots with a small blob of glue. Glue five new leather cords into this end cap.

Plait approx. 3cm in each side as shown: position two cords to one side and three to the other. Plait by alternately placing the outer cord – from the side with three cords – into the center. Continue plaiting by changing sides.

Secure the ends with masking tape, trim and glue into a new end cap.
7.
Attach a swivel clasp with an oval ring onto one side.

12264 Armbanden met decoupage papier

Zelfgemaakte kralen
Deze prachtige armbanden zijn gemaakt van houten kralen bedekt met kleine stukjes Vivi Gade Design decoupage papier. Gebruik Paverpol lijm om de kleine stukjes papier op de houten kralen te lijmen. De kralen worden geregen op een stuk satijnkoord met een kapittelsluiting.
1.
Tear the decoupage paper into small pieces and glue them onto wooden beads, one piece at a time. You may put the bead onto a golf tee. Smooth each piece of torn paper on the bead to eliminate small creases.
2.
Apply a layer of glue by turning the bead. Let it dry and apply another two coats of Paverpol sculpture glue.
3.
Polish the bead blank with a magnet glued onto a golf tee (or with a tea spoon).
4.
Tie the loop from a doubled over piece of satin cord onto the loop of the toggle ring.
5.
Thread wooden beads and silver rings alternately onto the cord.
6.
Pull the cord through the loop of the toggle bar.
7.
Assemble the ends of the cord with a knot which is pulled close to the loop with a needle.
8.
Glue end caps onto the cord ends.

Prachtige agaat kralen – mat en glanzend – geregen op een elastisch koord met een enkele kraal van geborsteld zilver.

Thread the beads onto a piece of 1mm elastic beading cord and tie five or six tight knots, preferably reef knots. Arrange the knot so that it is next to the bead with the largest hole. Then the knot can be pulled into the hole and hidden.

Trendy leren armband
Fashion Links geregen op een leerkoord en de magnetische sluiting is gelijmd met Super Attak Instant Glue.
TIP: Drip the glue into the clasp and then insert the leather cord. This avoids spilling glue on the outer side of the clasp. You may use a crochet hook to push the leather cord into the clasp.

Cut a piece of sewn leather lace measuring 57-62cm (measure three times around your wrist – remember to deduct the length of the clasp).
2
Pull on fashion links and glue the magnetic clasp onto the ends using Super Attak Instant Glue.

Hama kralen zijn op een rond onderbord gelegd. Gestreken met bakpapier tussen de kralen en het strijkijzer. Een ronde ring en een Franse oorbelhaak vormen de finishing touch.

Spiraal armbanden
De armband heeft een kleine, onzichtbare draaisluiting. Decoreer met figuur kralen, bedels, kralen op nietstiften, Fashion Links en zilveren ringen.

Pull the bracelet so that the clasp is visible. Twist to open.

Put the figure bead onto a ball head pin, snip and twist to make a double loop.

Assemble the loop and the ring with an oval ring.

Thread on the pendant and beads.

Before screwing the ring together, turning it slightly in the opposite direction to avoid it becoming twisted.

Close the next ring inside the first so that they are joined.
7
Assemble the 3rd ring with the other two.
8
Variation; Assemble the spirals in pairs with rings before closing them.
9
Assemble as before.
10
You may plait the spirals slightly before assembling.
