Cut a piece of 2mm leather cord measuring 3.80cm. After 20cm tie the first knot and thread on a bead. Then tie another knot.

You may thread on a large round bead below in the middle. Finish the first round.

Don’t thread on any beads at the top of the cord. Continue making two rounds at a time as shown.

Gather the cord at the top and tie a long adjustable knot like this: after making a loop, wind the end of the cord around approx. six or seven times.

Pull the end through all the twists and through the loop and pull tight.

Tie knots at the ends and trim.

Met prachtige hangers

Stukken jasseron met macramé koord, metalen ketting en facetkralen aan elkaar gemaakt met ovale ringetjes.

1.

Cut a piece of thin lightly waxed cotton cord measuring approx. 4m and double it over. Cut another piece of cotton cord measuring approx. 55cm as the middle cord. Now braid for approx. 33cm. Close this piece with a knot at each end.

2.

Put a metal cone onto an eye pin and glue the cord onto the top of the cone.

3.

Put three beads onto the eye pin and twist to form a loop.

4.

Before closing the loop completely, attach two chain fragments.

5.

Attach a bead on an eye pin onto the middle of one chain.

6.

Connect the chains and attach them to a pendant with an oval jump ring.

7.

Finish the necklace by connecting it to the braided cord.

8.

Finally attach a pendant with an oval jump ring.

Ringen met verwisselbare Glas link kralen

Ringen gemaakt van een stuk veer armband op maat geknipt en gedecoreerd met Glas link kralen of Fashion links.

De kleine onzichtbare schroefsluiting maakt het eenvoudig de Fashion links te verwisselen, zodat gemakkelijk een bijpassende ring voor een nieuwe ketting of een nieuwe armband gemaakt kan worden.

Cut a spring bracelet to a suitable length. Take into account the size of the fashion link you wish to use. Always start by making the ring a bit bigger as you can always cut off more of spring bracelet.

Thread the fashion link onto the ring and close it by screwing the two parts together. Remember to turn it slightly in the opposite direction to avoid it becoming twisted.

Armband en ketting

Kralen geregen op 2mm dik leerkoord met een gemakkelijke techniek.

1.

Double over two pieces of leather cord each measuring 75cm and tie a knot to make a loop.

2.

Thread on the beads individually onto two cords and switch between them.

3.

Gather the cords and tie a knot which fits through the loop.

Prachtige ketting

Deze macramé ketting is gemaakt van enigzins gewaxed zacht katoenkoord met kralen. De hanger is gemaakt van een zilveren kegel en een facette druppelvormige kraal op een nietstift.

1.

Cut one piece of thin lightly waxed cotton cord measuring approx. 6m and one piece measuring approx 0.85m. Start as shown, making a double loop for a bead.

2.

Braid approx. 70cm, attaching a bead for every braided 3.5 to 4cm. Double the spacing in the middle of the necklace.

3.

Finish the necklace by attaching the last bead and tying a knot with all the cords.

4.

Make a pendant from a silver cone and glass faceted teardrop shaped bead on a ball head pin.

5.

Attach the pendant onto the necklace with an oval jump ring.

Geweldige ketting van metaal

Open the articulated metal jewellery chain with a darning needle by opening one joint at a time.

Choose your desired length and remove the rest.

When assembling the chain rings make sure to insert the small hooks of the chain into the holes on the first row.

Press in the hooks with two fingers whilst rolling the chain. Press the joint until it is completely invisible using flat nose pliers.

Thread fashionable plastic rings with embossed designs on before gathering the chain ring.

Attach a big flower pendant onto a chain ring before assembling the chain ring with other chain rings.

Attach a pendant with an oval jump ring.

Attach the closed rings before closing the chain ring. Attach pendants with oval jump rings.

Make the “tassel” from long pieces of chain and a closed chain ring which is then glued in place.

Ketting

Deze romantische ketting is gemaakt van een stuk 2mm leerkoord met kleine hangers gemaakt van facet en glitter kralen bevestigd op nietstiften.

1.

Place individual beads onto individual head pins. Cut off a bit of the excess pin and twist the rest of the pin to make a double loop. Remember that the loop must be large enough for the leather cord to pass through.

2.

Cut a piece of leather cord measuring approx. 125cm. Glue an end cap onto one end of the cord.

3.

Attach a pendant (approx. 8cm) onto the end cap with a large round jump ring.

4.

Tie a knot near the end of the cord. Attach three or four pendants and close with another knot.

5.

Close at the cord end in the same way as at the start.

Zilveren vis

Dit is een prachtige ketting met hangers gemaakt op verzilverd draad en nietstiften. De hangers zijn aan jasseron bevestigd.

1.

Put beads onto an eye pin and attach this to a piece of jewellery chain by twisting the pin to make a loop.

2.

To make a pendant, put beads onto a ball head pin, twist to make a loop and twist the end of the pin around itself and nip it off.

3.

Attach the pendant onto the chain with a round jump ring.

4.

Attach round jump rings to both ends of the chain. Attach a lobster claw clasp to one of the round jump rings.

Earrings

5.

Put the silver fish onto a ball head pin. Twist to form a loop using round nose pliers and twist the end of the pin around itself and nip it off.

6.

Attach an eye pin through the loop of the ball head pin of the silver fish. Then put a bead onto the eye pin, turn the pin around itself and nip it off.

7.

Attach a French ear wire to the fish pendant by opening and closing it.

An articulated fish

8.

On a piece of 0.8mm silver-plated wire, twist to form a loop.

9.

Put the fish parts onto the wire and nip off the excess wire leaving approx. 1cm.

10.

Twist to form a loop.

11.

Attach the pendant to the chain using a round jump ring.
