Prachtige decoratieve cakejes

Grappige cakejes om te decoreren met Vivi Gade Papier

Cut 5cm wide Vivi Gade Design Paper strips and fold them in pleats.

Roll a ball and other decorations from Silk Clay.

Gather the pleat around the ball with double-sided adhesive tape. You could make a tray from a canvas panel and decorate it with Vivi Gade Design Paper and ribbons.

KAARTEN MAKEN

Een gestempeld en embossed ontwerp gedecoreerd met eyelets, metalen labels, lint en strasstenen en op een parelmoer kaart geplakt. Een grappige kaart om te maken geschikt voor zowel meisjes als jongens.

Dab the stamp design with embossing glue.

Remove the lid from the embossing powder so that it’s ready beside you. Make sure to have an ordinary piece of paper underneath the object you want to emboss. Press the stamp onto your object. Make sure to press evenly so the entire design is transferred.

Sprinkle the embossing powder over the printed image immediately.

Pour plenty on, so the entire image is covered whilst the stamped print is wet.

Remove excess embossing powder from the image by tapping it gently against the table. Blow away the last bits if necessary. Alternatively, with a fine, soft brush you can remove the “errors”.

Pour the excess powder back into the tub.

TTurn on the heat gun and hold it approx. 20cm from the area you need to heat. After a few seconds, a miracle happens; the powder melts. Heat over the entire stamped area little by little. The image cools and solidifies after 15 seconds after which you can touch it.

Roughly cut out the design. Cut a piece of card measuring 9.5 x 14cm.

Fix eyelets around the dragon’s neck with an eyelet punch. One end is used to make the actual hole.

The other end is used for fixing the eyelet from the back. Punch hard a few times until the back of the eyelet is flat and attaches securely around the hole.

Hold the cut out dragon up against the black card and – keeping the cut flush – cut off where the dragon protrudes.

Put decorative ribbon through the eyelet holes and attach the dragon onto the black card with double-sided adhesive tape.

Put the black cardboard onto the card with double-sided adhesive tape. Write a text on a metal tag and tie it onto the dragon’s “collar”. Decorate with a red rhinestone eye if you wish.

KAARTEN MAKEN

Lieflijke, romantische kaart gemaakt met Vivi Gade Design papier van de Skagen serie. Gaten voor het lint worden gemaakt met de Fiskars Border Punch. Het gat in de kaart wordt geaccentueerd met vezelpapier.

Place the Fiskars Cutting template in the middle of the card’s front. Ensure that the Fiskars logo at the top left corner faces upwards and is readable. Remove the clear and the orange protective cover from the Shape Cutter, and adjust it to cut the card. (It should be adjusted to the left). Now cut out the window by moving the Shape Cutter along the edge of the template.

Turn over the card and attach a piece of fibre paper on the back with E-Z Runner.

Cut a piece of paper which is slightly smaller than the card and cut a hole out in the middle with the Shape Cutter. The hole should be slightly larger than the hole already made in the card. Make holes along the edge all the way around with the Border Punch.

Insert a 9mm wide ribbon and finish with a bow.

Attach the frame with the ribbon onto the card with EZ Runner.

Cut out two hearts. Attach one directly onto the fibre paper with E-Z Runner. Put the second heart onto the card with 3D pads, slightly staggered relative to the first heart.

KAARTEN MAKEN

Een kaart gedecoreerd met wit karton en gestreept Vivi Gade Design papier met geponste rand en gedecoreerd met maritieme figuren.

Cut off 2.5cm of the card’s front. Cut a striped piece of paper measuring 3 x 11.5cm as well as a stripy piece and a white piece measuring 4 x 11.5cm.

Punch along one edge of the striped pieces of paper and along both edges of the white paper.

Put the punched pieces of paper onto the card with double-sided adhesive tape. Cut a thin strip of the card which was cut off the card’s front and attach it onto the striped paper to the left.

Write a text on a sheet of white card – 6 x 2cm and put a piece of black card behind it. Fix it onto the card with double-sided adhesive tape. Remove the protective paper on the maritime figures and put them onto the card.
