Kerstbomen
Uitgestanste bomen van karton zijn beplakt met Vivi Gade Design decoupagepapier en een lijmstift. Bloemendraad is gebruikt om de sterren in de top te maken.
1.
Glue decoupage paper onto the punched-out trees using a glue stick. Cover both sides of the tree with decoupage paper. Let the glue dry.
3.
Cut one tree half way through at the top and the other at the bottom.
4.
Assemble the tree as shown.
5.
Shape a star from floral wire.
6.
Attach the base of the star onto the Christmas tree with a little bit of glue using a glue gun.

Origami bloem
Vivi Gade Design Papier “Bremen” gevouwen tot een bloem met bloemen.
1.
Cut pieces of Design Paper in 10x10cm sizes.
2.
Fold the square in the middle to make a triangle.
3.
Fold in the corners towards the middle.
4.
Unfold the side again and press and push it together so that the top tip is centered. Repeat at the other side.
5.
Fold down the three tips so that the paper’s other side is visible.
6.
Fold both sides towards the middle of the triangle.
7.
Attach double-sided adhesive tape on one side and attach to the other side.
8.
Put the cone together.
9.
Put the cones together with double-sided adhesive tape so there are five altogether making up a single flower.
10.
Put 14 flowers together to make a bauble with double-sided adhesive tape and finally a blob of glue if needed. Hang with a decorative ribbon.

Gedecoreerde kerstboom voor aan de muur
Een simpele kerstboom voor aan de muur is gedecoreerd met Vivi Gade Design vilt en pom-pom lint.
1.
Cut a width of Vivi Gade Design felt equivalent to the width of the Christmas tree wall hanging x 15cm.
2.
Attach the felt border with pins.
3.
Sew it on with ordinary tacking stitches.
4.
Sew on the pom-pom ribbon using the same procedure. You may sew on the felt border and the ribbon at the same time.

Kaarten maken
Een prachtige gevouwen kaart met ruimte voor een persoonlijke groet of voor bijvoorbeeld een cadeaubon.

De engel Vivi
Een schitterende engel gemaakt op een nog slechts in elkaar te zetten pop, gekleed in een jurk en schort gemaakt van Vivi Gade stof.
Gedecoreerd met kant, een kerstster en rocailles.

Cut out the patterns leaving a 7mm seam and turn over: 2 x sleeves and 2 x wings. For the apron cut a piece of fabric measuring 8 x 14cm.

Sew the dress together at the shoulders. Sew on the sleeves as shown.

Turn and sew the edge at the sleeves. Sew the sleeves and the sides at the same time. Turn up the edge of the dress.

Place the wings right side against right side. Sew together leaving a hole for turning inside out.

Turn all four sides of the apron and sew. Gather at the top. Make a halter neck. Glue or sew on the lace and the halter neck.

Paint the hands, neck and legs with Plus Color skin colour. Paint the shoes and the star with Plus Color gold.
7
Make bloomers from a piece of fabric and a glued on lace. Glue the legs into a pre-drilled hole in the body.
8
Glue the arms onto the body. Pull on the dress. Reinforce the head and the neck with a small stick prior to gluing on.
9
Glue lace onto the sleeves. Put on the apron. Glue on the hair.
10
Thread beads onto a piece of string to make a halo. Glue on the halo, star and wings. Use a piece of gold thread for hanging.

Kabouterkleding
Knip de miniatuurkleding uit vilt m.b.v. het sjabloon. Naai met de hand aan elkaar. Decoreer met knopen en een stuk op de broek.
1.
Cut the clothes from felt using the template. Remember two mittens and two socks must be cut as mirror images. Fold the felt in two. Place the jacket at the doubled over fold before cutting.
2.
Sew the parts together with small external back stitches. Cut up the jacket at the front.
3.
Cut narrow strips for braces. Buttons and a patch are sewn or glued onto the trousers and the jacket. Glue a pom-pom onto the hat. Attach the clothes onto a string using mini pegs.
4.
Dismantle the frame and paint it with Plus Color Craft Paint. Paint the backing plate and the inner frame with off white Plus Color and the outside frame with antique red Plus Color.
5.
Cover the inner frame with felt. Attach the felt with double-sided adhesive tape.
6.
Assemble the frame and hang the clothes on pegs before attaching the backing plate.

Waxinelichten
Vivi Gade Design katoen is gelijmd op waxinelichten met gehaakte randen en knopen.
1.
Attach Power Tape to the candle holder at the same width as the width of the fabric.
2.
Use pinking shears when cutting the fabric and then attach the fabric onto the candle holder.
3.
You may attach a crochet lace border.
4.
Sew a piece of thread in the buttons and glue these on.

Cadeaus inpakken
Het inpakken van het cadeau is bijna net zo belangrijk als het cadeau zelf. Deze cadeaus zijn prachtig ingepakt in cadeaupapier uit de Vivi Gade Design (Helsinki) serie en verder gedecoreerd met lint in bijpassende kleuren.

Het cadeau is verpakt in Vivi Gade Design papier van de Copenhagen serie. Het is gedecoreerd met lint en een gewoven hart is bevestigd met een label.

Gevulde kerstbomen op kaarten
Prachtige kaarten in pastelkleuren met kleine kerstbomen gevuld met polyester vulsel en genaaid op de naaimachine.

For a card measuring 12.5 x 12.5cm, cut a piece of white card measuring 11 x 11cm and a piece of patterned card measuring 10 x 10cm.

Attach the card pieces onto the card with glue or with special double-sided adhesive tape.

Draw the Christmas tree using the template and cut four in total.

Sew along the edge of the Christmas tree using a sewing machine. Sew the two sides. Leave the third side open for putting the stuffing inside the tree. Then sew the third side.
5
Cut four “trunks” measuring 1 x 6cm.
6
Attach all the parts onto the card; one trunk with glue or special double-sided adhesive tape, the other with 3D foam pads. Also attach one of the Christmas trees with 3D foam pads to give a special effect to the card.
