Ketting van draad

Kralen zijn geregen op sterk draad en de sluiting is aan beide uiteinden gelijmd met lijm.

1.

The clasp consits of three parts. Attach largest part onto the wire turning the large hole turning towards the end of the wire. Glue on the small part without a screw using instant glue.

2.

Thread beads onto the wire before closing the wire at the other end by glueing on the part with the screw.

3.

Pull the large part over the small part.

4.

Screw on the part with the screw onto the large fastening part.

Armbanden met krimpfolie

De armbanden zijn gemaakt van schoenveters. De hangers en de verstelbare knopen zijn gemaakt van krimpfolie vellen en plastic kralen.

Draw and decorate on a shrink plastic sheet using Colortime Coloured Pencils. Use the template.

2.

Cut out and make holes with a hole puncher. The adjustable  buttons must have two elongated holes size 1 x 2cm. See the template.

3.

Shrink the shrink plastic sheets in a warm household oven at 130 degrees to approx. 1/3 size.

4.

Cut a shoelace in two and wrap sticky tape around the ends.

5.

Push the ends through the adjustable buttons or plastic beads and attach the pendant with an oval jump ring.

Hippe armbanden

Gevlochten van een schoenveter. Een knoop is meegevlochten als sluiting.

Double over the shoe lace and tie a loop.

Pull a link button onto both ends and place it where you want the bracelet to finish.

Braid around the two shoe laces with the ends and make sure to keep the ends flat.

When the ends are used up, tie knots to lock the ends. One on each side.

Armbanden

Sieraden gemaakt op memory wire. Kralen zijn op het draad geregen dat aan beide kanten is afgewerkt met eindkappen die erop zijn gelijmd.

1.

Close off one end of the wire by glueing a memory wire end cap in place using Super Attak brush-on instant glue.

2.

Thread the beads onto the memory wire. Be careful not the pull the wire out of shape.

3.

When the entire wire is filled with beads, lock it by glueing on another memory wire end cap.

Indiaanse sieraden

Vrouwelijke en kleurrijke sieraden. Indiaanse kralen en rozen van klei zijn geregen op een stuk elastiek.

Thread beads and clay roses onto a piece of elastic beading cord and finish with two reef knots.

Schoenveters als sleutelkoord

Een trendy sleutelkoord gemaakt van schoenveters.

Pull the swivel clasp onto the shoe lace.

Place the shoe lace ends over each other and place the second shoe lace across.

Braid the shoe lace and stop approx. 5cm before the swivel clasp.

Turn the key hanger over and twist one end of the shoe lace around the braiding.

Push the ends underneath and pull.

Trendy armband gemaakt van leer met haaksluiting

Wikkel het stuk leer twee maal om de pols en knip op de juiste lengte. De sluiting is gelijmd met Super Attak Instant lijm. Eén eindkap is verschuifbaar.

Cut a piece of leather measuring approx. 42 x 46cm.
Attach the end cap.

Attach the end cap.
Drip a small amount of Super Attak Instant Glue in the fastener and attach the ends.

Indiaanse sieraden

Dit is een vrouwelijke, Indiaanse ketting met veren en Indiaanse kralen op een leerkoord.

1.

Glue the guinea fowl feather into an end cap.

2.

Attach a round jump ring to the loop of the end cap.

3.

Cut a piece of leather cord measuring 150cm and thread the pendants onto the cord. The cord is now doubled over. Cut a 60cm long piece of leather cord and braid around the doubled over piece of cord. See the technique described in our  Jewellery School.

4.

Half-way through the braiding, thread a bead onto the two middle cords (the doubled over piece of cord).

5.

Now secure the ends from the braiding using a darning needle.

6.

Approx. 12cm from the braiding, tie a single knot on each of the two cords and thread beads onto each cord. The holes of the beads vary in size.

7.

Trim the leather cords. Put some glue inside the bead and insert the ends of each piece of cord into the bead.
