Engelachtige sieraden

Deze prachtige hanger is gemaakt van 0.8mm verzilverd metaaldraad. De kralen zijn op het draad geregen en de sluiting is een kapittelslot.

1.

Turn a piece of 0.8mm silver-plated metal wire to form a loop.

2.

Thread the beads onto the wire as shown.

3.

Use round nose pliers to form a loop and twist the wire around the pin/wire.

4.

Continue downwards, twisting the wire around the top half of the bead, covering the top half of the bead.

5.

Cut off the excess wire and turn to form a decorative loop.

6.

Thread the pendant and the beads onto a piece of beading wire.

7.

Finish the necklace with a bead tip and a crimp bead. Squeeze the crimp bead flat.

8.

Cut off the wire right after the crimp bead.

9.

Close the bead tip around the crimp bead.

10.

Use the same finishing procedure for the other end of the necklace. In this case squeeze the crimp bead flat down in the bead tip. The wire must be completely filled with beads, but do not tighten it too much.

Insert a round jump ring and close it using two flat nose pliers. At the start, the round jump ring is open. Only twist it to one side – never apart. The photos No. 11, 12 and 13 illustrate how to twist the round jump ring.

Quickly twist the ends slightly past each other, whilst they scrape against each other…

… and back again. When the two ends are exactly opposite each other, stop twisting and the round jump ring is closed successfully.

Attach a lobster claw clasp prior to closing the round jump ring at the other end of the necklace.

Variation.

Only a few beads on the wire: the beads are held in place with crimp beads. Squeeze the crimp bead flat with special pliers for crimp beads.

The crimp bead is squeezed flat in a bow shape.

With the outer tips of the pliers, gather the bow to make a round bead.

Vredesduiven

Cut two pieces of beading wire each measuring approx. 80cm and assemble them in a crimp bead. Squeeze the crimp bead flat. Thread the beads onto the wires. If you mix the beads on the wires you will only need one set of beads but otherwise two sets. The necklaces must be long enough that they – when assembled – can be pulled over your head (approx. 60-65cm).

Assemble the two ends in the same way as at the start. Glue all the ends together in a large end cap with Super Attak instant glue.

3.

Connect an eye pin onto the loop on the end cap with an oval jump ring.

4.

Put a bead onto the pin. Nip some of the pin off, leaving approx. 1cm and twist this to form a loop.

5.

Attach the peace dove to the loop on the pin with an oval jump ring.

Earrings: Put an eye pin onto the earwire. Put a bead onto the pin and nip off some of the pin, leaving approx. 1cm and twist this to form a loop. Assemble the peace dove onto the loop with an oval jump ring.

A bracelet: Thread each colour onto each piece of 0.5mm elastic beading cord. Each is approx. 69cm long. Tie four or five tight knots.

Jeugdige sieraden

Use a pair of scissors or a knife to cut a piece of foam rubber measuring approx. 16 x 2cm.

2.

Sew an approx. 40cm long piece of organza ribbon onto the piece of foam rubber. You may use different types of stitches.

3.

Sew small wood or glass beads and metal beads onto the first half of the foam rubber bracelet before reaching the middle.

4.

Sew the clay flower onto middle of the foam rubber bracelet. Sew the bead combination onto the other half of the bracelet from the middle towards the other end in mirror image. Secure the thread well.

5.

Variation: You may place two pieces of foam rubber on top of each other, one piece approx. 2.5cm wide and the other approx. 1cm wide. You may vary the edges of the bracelet by cutting a wave design

Keramiek kralen aan een hanger

Thread the beads as shown in the picture onto a 180cm long piece of leather cord.

Assemble beads and fashion links with pieces of jewellery chain and round jump rings in the ring link as you wish.

Een Krokodillenarmband

Dit design koord van imitatie krokodillenleer wordt gesloten met een magneetsluiting. De bedels zijn bevestigd met zilveren ringen.

1.

Monteer de bedel met een bevestigingsring aan de zilveren ring.

2.

Rijg de bedels aan het koord.

3.

Knip een stuk koord op de gewenste lengte.

4.

Lijm de magneetsluitingen aan de uiteinden van het koord.

Mooie en makkelijk te maken armbanden

Verschillende hangers, glazen kralen en fashion links worden armbanden. De vis hangers zijn gemaakt met een kogelkoppin en een dikke zilver metalen ring.

Put the metal fish onto a ball head pin and bend the pin backwards and cut off leaving approx. 1cm.

2.

Use round nose pliers for making a loop by turning the pin forward. Close the loop completely.

3.

Open the thick silver metal ring and put the fish onto the ring.

4.

The silicone bracelet may be shortened.

5.

Pull or roll small silicone rings onto the silicone bracelet. These are used for keeping the beads and links in place.

6.

Now the glass charm bead stays in place on the bracelet.

7.

Put the fish pendant onto the bracelet.

8.

The fashion links have silicone posts inside and therefore also stay in place on the bracelet.

9.

The bracelet has a built-in fastener. You may hide the opening of the bracelet with a bead or fashion link.

Een armband

Rocailles worden geregen aan een rijgdraad. De armband wordt gesloten met een magneetsluiting. De bedels worden met bevestigingsringetjes vastgemaakt aan een massief zilveren ring.

1.

Verzamel met een knijpkraal, drie strengen kralenrijgdraad van ongeveer 70 cm. ieder. Knijp de knijpkraal plat.

2.

Neem een ​​van de drie rijgdraden (één per keer). Knijp het einde plat en haal door een kralenrijgnaald voor de kralencarrousel.

3.

Vul de kralencarrousel met heel veel rocailles.

4.

Houd de naald in de carrousel in de tegenovergestelde draairichting van de carrousel.

Glaskralen, zilveren Fashion Links en hangers zijn geregen op 1mm elastisch sieradenkoord en afgewerkt met vier of vijf strakke knopen.

Attach an oval ring in the loop of the pendant.

Thread the beads and pendants onto the elastic beading cord. Always finish with a bead with a large hole to hide the knot inside.

3.

Tie four or five very tight knots – preferably reef knots. Cut off the ends and pull the knot inside a bead.
