Decoratieve kandelaar

De waxinelichthouder is geverfd met Plus Color acrylverf. De decoratieve rand is geknipt uit een vel Vivi Gade Design papier en op de rand gelijmd met decoupage lijmlak.

1.

Paint the candle holder with off white Plus Color Craft paint.

2.

Lightly sand the candle holder and you may apply another coat of paint.

3.

Cut out a decorative patterned strip of Vivi Gade Design paper from the Copenhagen series.

4.

Glue the strips along the edges of the candle holder using decoupage lacquer.

5.

Paint the tips of the pine cones to be used for decoration.

Kerst in metallic

De papier-mâché letters zijn geverfd met waardevolle metal verf. Decoupage met servetten of bevestig metallic holografisch papier met dubbelzijdig klevend tape. Decoreer daarna met een Parel Pen.

1.

Paint the papier-mâché letters with Precious Metal Paint.

2.

Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer to the letters using a brush. Place the top coloured layer of the 3-layered napkin in the decoupage lacquer and also apply a coat of laquer on top of the napkin.

3.

Cut off the excess napkin when dry.

Engelen met glitter

Engelen geknipt uit Vivi Gade Design papier en op waxinelichten gelijmd met decoupage lijmlak. De waxinelichten zijn daarna gedecoreerd met Paper Pen en 3D zilverkleurige liner alsook zilverkleurige chenilledraad aan de bovenkant.

Cut the selected angels from Vivi Gade Design Paper – the Bremen series.

Attach the angel onto the candle holder using decoupage lacquer (glitter) and apply thinly to the entire candle holder.

Glue the silver pipe cleaner onto the top edge of the candle holder using a glue gun.

Finish by decorating the candle holder with dots made with a Paper Pen.

Confirmation

Card series cut in card and decorated with fish. Fiskars wave border punch is used for making flood waves.

Start by cutting all the parts out. The texts can be typed on the computer before cutting.

White: 12.5 x 25cm folded – 9 x 4cm with text.
White waves: 11.5 x 7cm – 11.5 x 5cm, punch a border.
Turquoise: 11.5 x 11.5cm and 11.5 x 4.5cm, punch a border.
Dark blue: 9.5 x 4.5cm and 11.5 x 7, punch a border.

Menu card:

White: 21 x 12cm – 13 x 8cm with text.
White waves: 11 x 8cm – 11 x 6.5cm, punch a border.
Turquoise: 11 x 20cm and 11 x 5.5cm, punch a border.
Dark blue: 14 x 8.5cm and 11 x 8cm, punch a border.

Place cards:

White: 10 x 12cm folded – 6.5 x 3cm with text.
White waves: 9 x 3cm, punch a border.
Turquoise: 9 x 5.5cm and 9 x 2.5cm, punch a border.
Dark blue: 7 x 3.5cm and 9 x 4cm, punch a border.

First glue on the turquoise background, then the dark blue and then the white text square and finally the waves. A row of waves may be attached with 3D foam pads to create an effect.

Decorate with fish and white bubbles from a hole punch or a hand punch. Finish with water drops made with a transparent Gloss Gel.

Uitgestanste sterren

De uitgestanste sterren zijn aan elkaar gemaakt en op een stuk papierkoord geniet.

1.

Assemble the card and vellum hearts in layers with 3D foam pads. Finish with a wooden button.

2.

Make tassels and tie them onto a piece of string.

3.

Glue on the string with the tassels between the middle layers of the star. Thread on a bead at the end.

Engelen van papier

Kleine hangende engelen gemaakt van Vivi Gade papieren vlechtstroken en de quilling techniek. Gedecoreerd met prisma’s en de strasstenen.

1.

Use the tip of the quilling tool to twist the weaving paper strip around it, so it fits into the chosen hole size on the quilling board.

2.

Place the quilled coil into the hole of the board. It slightly unravels but keeps its shape in the hole.

3.

Carefully remove the quilled coil from the board and glue it.

4.

Place the coils in the holes on the quilling board whilst drying.

5.

The coils may be carefully squeezed between two fingers to achieve the desired shape.

6.

Glue the body, wings and the head togehter.

7.

Thread a piece of silver thread through the coils; one at the top and one at the bottom. Use a needle to tie a knot on the silver thread so it is right against the quilled coil. Only thread one thread though the prism at the bottom and let the other thread go outside the prism. Then tie a knot.

8.

Attach self-adhesive rhinestones.

Kerstcadeaus

Kerstcadeaus ingepakt in Vivi Gade Design inpakpapier. Gedecoreerd met een halve, gevlochten ster, decoratief lint en strasstenen.

1.

Wrap the box neatly without any visible tape.

2.

Weave one side of a star using wide weaving paper strips.

3.

Pull the weaving paper strip ends from the back of the star down over the sides and onto the bottom of the box and glue in place.

4.

Decorate the weaving paper strips on the box with ribbon.

5.

Decorate with rhinestones.

Een tas gedecoreerd met Vivi Gade Design papier

Decoreer de tas met Vivi Gade Design papier uit de Oslo serie, cakeservetten en was met zegel.

1.

Unscrew the top part of the seal and insert the desired seal. Melt the wax over the desired area.

2.

Push the seal into the melted wax.
