Kussens genaaid van Vivi Gade katoenstof van de Copenhagen serie. Gedecoreerd met kant of design koord.

The cushions are sewn to fit stuffed pillows measuring 40 x 40cm. Cut the fabric a little bigger and sew together with a 2.5cm seam. Remember to leave an opening for turning inside out.

Cut off the corners as shown.

Turn inside out, iron, stuff and sew together.

Sew the design cord on along the edge using back stitches (use the holes already made in the design cord).

When making the cushion with the lace, place it onto the right side of a piece of fabric and sew it in place.

Place the other piece of the cushion on top and sew along in the first seam. Remember to leave an opening for turning. Continue from step 2.

Grappige parade kostuums gemaakt van stroken stof geniet op een stuk breed elastiek en gedecoreerd met pom-poms en paillettenlint.
1.
Cut a piece of wide elastic cord and strips of fabric. Staple the pieces of fabric onto the elastic cord.

Fold the ends slightly together.

Prachtige Paasdecoratie
Deze schattige kleine kippen zijn gemaakt van Vivi Gade Design vilt van de Helsinki serie. De vleugels en de poten zijn gemaakt van bloemendraad en aan het lijfje genaaid. De ogen zijn houten kraaltjes.
1.
Draw the desing onto the felt twice using the template and cut out.
2.
Make the legs, the wings and the comb from floral wire as follows:
For the legs: cut two pieces of floral wire each measuring approx. 80cm.
For the comb: approx. 40cm.
For the wings: two pieces measuring approx. 40cm.
3.
Double over the floral wire to twist the ends together. Follow the same procedure to make the legs, the comb and the wings.
Form the feet and twist the ends together.
4.
Put the felt pieces together (right sides facing out) and sew together with buttonhole stitches all the way around.
When having sewn 7cm along one side, attach the wing between the two pieces of felt and continue sewing.
At the tip insert the comb and continue sewing. Don’t forget the wing at the other side.
5.
Before sewing the base together, insert a small amount of polyester stuffing inside the chicken.
6.
Pull a wooden bead onto the legs and finish at the top by twisting to form a small loop. Sew the legs onto the body with the small loop.
7.
Finally cut out a beak and glue it onto the chicken. Sew wooden beads onto the chicken for eyes.

Kerstballen van stof
Deze ballen van styropor zijn bedekt met stukken stof van de Vivi Gade stof serie en omgetoverd in de prachtigste kerstballen door het aanbrengen van een laag A-color Allround medium lijmlak.
Varnished with A-color Allround medium glue lacquer. Hung on a piece of paper string with painted wooden beads.

Cut small “pieces” of Vivi Gade fabric and glue them onto the polystyrene ball with A-color Allround medium glue lacquer. Also apply A-color Allround medium glue lacquer on top of the glued on pieces of fabric.

When the glue is dry, apply another coat of A-color Allround medium glue lacquer.

Paint wooden beads with red and white Plus Color.

Make a hole in the polystyrene ball. Thread the painted beads onto a piece of two-coloured paper string which is glued in place in the hole.

Ridder cape
Maak een cape voor de kruisvaarders, Arthur’s ridders van de Ronde Tafel of met je eigen symbool. Gemaakt van vilt met het symbool erop gelijmd.

Cut the felt to the desired length (measure from the shoulder down to the knee).

Fold the felt two times over the middle to establish where the neck opening should be.

Cut out a hole for the neck

Cut a slit in the neck opening approx. 6-12cm.

Brush the symbol with hobby glue and glue it onto the middle of the knight’s cape.

Variant of the knight’s cape
This knight’s cape is made of blue felt with a symbol consisting of a yellow circle and a red horse.

Breien

Using cotton twine cast on 50 stitches and knit moss stitches until the piece measures approx. 35-40cm. Then decrease to make a pointed tip; two stitches on each side, nine times – i.e. 14 stitches left. Cast off.
Cut a piece of canvas in the same size as the bag + seam and sew this onto one side of the bag.

Sew the crochet lace borders onto the front of the bag.
Shoulder strap
Cast on 8 stitches and knit moss stitches to your desired length. Cut a piece of canvas double the size of the strap’s width, fold over and sew this piece onto one side of the strap.
Assembling
Fold over the bag and sew the shoulder strap onto the sides from the base of the bag.
Crochet a small loop for the button on the front of the bag. Use doubled over cotton twine.
Sew on a wooden bead as a button.

Kerstdecoratie
Een eenvoudige slinger van gevulde harten van vilt op een lint genaaid.
1.
Paint the wood buttons with Plus Color and let them dry.
2.
Cut out twelve hearts using the template.
3.
Sew the hearts together but leave an opening of 5cm to the heart can be turned inside out. Stuff with polyester stuffing.

Sew the hearts onto the ribbon at the same time as sewing the buttons onto the hearts; all in one process.

Hangende soldaten
Het is zeer gemakkelijk om soldaten te maken van katoen van Vivi Gade Design uit de Copenhagen serie met hoed van vilt en kruisbanden van lint.
1.
Cut out the various fabric parts including 1cm seam using the template.
2.
Sew the parts together, outer sides against outer sides.
3.
Sew the pieces together to form a tube and turn inside out.
4.
Fill the tube with polyester stuffing and sew them together at the base and at the top.
5.
Sew on the cross-braces using tacking stitches and draw a face with a permanent marker.

Tasje voor je iPad
Deze tas is gebreid van Melbourne wol en daarna vervilt in de wasmachine op 40 ° C. Gaten worden gesneden na de zak is vervilt. De schouderband en de sluiting zijn gemaakt van 3mm dikke lederen koorden. Een met de hand gemaakte hoornen kraal wordt genaaid op de voorkant.
