Schattige kabouters
Deze kabouters zijn gemaakt van Vivi Gade Design vilt en aan elkaar genaaid met de hand of met de naaimachine.
1.
Cut out two of each part. A seam allowance is included in the template.
2.
Sew the parts together by hand or on the sewing machine, with visible seams (place the fabrics staggered on top of each other).
3.
Finally sew the back and the front together. Attach a ribbon in the hat as you go along. Trim the edge.
4.
Now fill the pixie with polyester wadding and close the base.
5.
Embroider the face and the legs with mercerised cotton yarn.

Breien op een Knitting Loom
Deze muts en das zijn gebreid op een Knitting Loom met fantasia acryl garen.
1.
Draai het garen om iedere pin van de Knitting Loom en ga zo door tot je twee rondes hebt opgezet.
2.
Maak steken door de onderste rij over de bovenste rij heen te halen. Ga helemaal rond.
3.
Zet nu de volgende rij op.
4.
Haal weer de onderste rij over de bovenste heen en zet vervolgens weer een ronde steken op. Herhaal tot je breiwerk de gewenste lengte heeft.
5.
Een nieuwe kleur opzetten is heel eenvoudig. Je zet gewoon de steken op, zoals in het begin. Het begin van je draad, hecht je af, wanneer je breiwerk klaar is.
6.
Aan het eind, verzamel je al je steken op een nieuw stuk garen, zoals afgebeeld.
7.
Wanneer je alle steken hebt afgehaald en verzameld hebt op het nieuwe stuk garen, dan trek je dit stuk garen strak en legt een stevige knoop in de uiteinden.
8.
Maak een pompoen en naai deze aan het uiteinde.

Prachtige hangende decoraties
Knip de onderdelen uit vilt en naai aan elkaar. Decoreer het plastic ei met Vivi Gade decoupage papier dat bestempeld is.
1.
Cut a design from felt using the template.
2.
Cut out the next design (mirror imaged) using the first as a template; it is easier like this.
3.
Sew the two parts together with buttonhole stitches. Leave an opening at the bottom.
4.
Fill it with polyester stuffing. Sew together.
5.
Cut a piece of bonsai wire and bend to form a hook which is then pushed through the felt chicken.
6.
Dab some paint onto the silicone stamp.
7.
Print on the decoupage paper. Use the large designs.
8.
Push a hole through the egg and push a piece of wire through (to hold onto).
9.
Glue small torn pieces of paper onto the egg.
10.
Use the small stamps for printing Art Metal gold paint onto the eggs.
11.
Tie a piece of flax twine around the egg.
12.
Thread a bead, the egg and another bead onto the wire and finish by twisting to form a loop.

Kabouters van vilt
Vivi Gade Design vilt is geknipt m.b.v. het sjabloon en met de hand aan elkaar genaaid. De kabouters zijn gevuld met polyester vulsel en plastic korrels. Het hoofd, pom-poms en natuurlijk hennep draad als haar zijn erop gelijmd.
1.
Cut out all the felt pieces using the template.
2.
Sew on a square with a button onto one pixie and hearts onto the other pixie.
3.
Sew the bodies and the pixie hats together by hand.
4.
Sew tacking stitches at the neck and tie loosely.
5.
Glue the head onto the edge.
6.
Lightly stuff the body with polyester stuffing.
7.
Cut a piece of felt measuring 2 x 30cm, tie it onto the neck as a scarf and cut small notches at the ends to resemble tassels.
8.
Stitch half of the base onto the body and fill it with plastic pellets.
9.
Make hair from natural hemp: Small pieces for the fringe and nine long pieces for the plaits. Tie with red and white striped string.
10.
Lightly stuff the pixie hat with polyester stuffing and glue it onto the head.
11.
Glue on pompom ribbon at the edge of the dress on the pixie girl. Glue on a pompom at the tip of the pixie hat.

De engel Vivi
Een schitterende engel gemaakt op een nog slechts in elkaar te zetten pop, gekleed in een jurk en schort gemaakt van Vivi Gade stof.
Gedecoreerd met kant, een kerstster en rocailles.

Cut out the patterns leaving a 7mm seam and turn over: 2 x sleeves and 2 x wings. For the apron cut a piece of fabric measuring 8 x 14cm.

Sew the dress together at the shoulders. Sew on the sleeves as shown.

Turn and sew the edge at the sleeves. Sew the sleeves and the sides at the same time. Turn up the edge of the dress.
4
Place the wings right side against right side. Sew together leaving a hole for turning inside out.
5
Turn all four sides of the apron and sew. Gather at the top. Make a halter neck. Glue or sew on the lace and the halter neck.
6
Paint the hands, neck and legs with Plus Color skin colour. Paint the shoes and the star with Plus Color gold.
7
Make bloomers from a piece of fabric and a glued on lace. Glue the legs into a pre-drilled hole in the body.
8
Glue the arms onto the body. Pull on the dress. Reinforce the head and the neck with a small stick prior to gluing on.
9
Glue lace onto the sleeves. Put on the apron. Glue on the hair.
10
Thread beads onto a piece of string to make a halo. Glue on the halo, star and wings. Use a piece of gold thread for hanging.

Stoffen figuren en vormen
Knip de vormen m.b.v. het sjabloon uit Vivi Gade Design stof en naai deze aan elkaar. Lijm deze daarna in paren om de metalen standaard.
1.
Draw the template onto Vivi Gade Design Cotton Fabric and cut out.
2.
Cut out a small square in a different colour or design and sew this onto the cut-out fabric bird.
3.
Put the two cut-out fabric bird pieces together and sew them together. Leave a small hole.
4.
Fill the bird with polyester stuffing and sew the hole together.
5.
Stitch a threaded needle through a button and then through the corner of the small square on the bird.
6.
And back up again through the button.
7.
Tie a knot on the piece of thread.
9.
Push the fabric bird over the metal bar and glue in place.
10.
Tie a piece of natural hemp around the metal bar where the bird joins, and trim.

Babuska’s van stof
Genaaid van Vivi Gade Copenhagen Design stof. Het gezicht is geborduurd op het vilt met katoengaren. Naai aan elkaar en vul op met polyester vulsel. Gebruik Vivi Gade Design vilt om op te hagen.
1.
Cut out the parts using the template and leave a 7mm seam allowance.
2.
Sew the head and body together.
3.
Cut the face from felt.
4.
Use a 24hour pen for drawing the face onto the felt. Then embroider using outline stitches.
5.
Colour the cheeks with a red colouring pencil.
6.
Iron Vliesofix on the back of the felt face.
7.
Remove the protective paper and iron the face onto the body.
8.
Use Vliesofix for ironing on the bows.
9.
Fold a piece of ribbon; place it between the two body parts and sew together, leaving a 3cm hole at the bottom.
10.
Fill the body lightly with polyester stuffing and sew together.

Hoofden van stof
Een katoenbal is gebruikt als buik – bedekt met rondgebreide tube. Lijm de armen op de rug van de engel. Lijm ook het hoofd en de handen. De vleugels zijn gemaakt van een paar takken.

Kabouters gemaakt van London Design vilt
Kabouters worden uitgeknipt m.b.v. het sjabloon. Ogen, een baard en een mond worden op het gezicht genaaid. Het lijf wordt nagenoeg dicht genaaid. Het gezicht wordt erop gelijmd met een lijmpistool en het lijf wordt gevuld met polyester vulsel. Naai het lijf nu dicht. Een stuk mercerised katoendraad met houten kralen is gebruikt om de kabouters aan op te hangen.

Pop van bloemendraad met een jurk van prikvilt
Deze hangende pop is gemaakt van bloemendraad gekleed in een jurk gemaakt van prikvilt en een hoofd van stof.
1.
Shape the doll’s body and arms from floral wire. Attach the stuffed fabric head with a glue gun and draw facial features with a marker pen. TIP! Instead of attaching the head with with a glue gune, you may start shaping the doll’s body by inserting the floral wire through the head.
2.
Needle felt a dress using the template.
3.
Wrap the dress around the doll’s body and needle felt it onto the body securely by adding small needle felted dots in a different colour.
4.
Needle felt some hair onto the doll’s head. Attach a piece of embroidery yarn onto the hair for hanging.
5.
Thread a bead onto the piece of yarn for hanging and glue a polyresin crown and a fabric bow onto the doll’s head.
