Geboetseerde sleutelhangers

Deze grappige sleutelhangers worden gemaakt van Silk Clay. Druk, voor het drogen, de metale sleutelhangerring in de geboetseerde Silk Clay-figuur. De hangers zijn klaar na 24 uur drogen.

Tip: Probeer de Silk Clay plat te rollen op een plastic zak en snij de figuurtjes ruw uit met een schaar, zoals bij het voorbeeld van de robot hieronder.

Hangende vogels

Zelfhardende klei is uitgerold met een roller, uitgestanst met uitsteekvormen en versierd met een patroon gemaakt met een gehaakt lint.

Roll out the self-hardening clay with the rolling pin.

Place the lace border on the rolled out clay and roll on top of the lace border into the clay with the rolling pin. Then remove the lace border.

3.

Punch out the shapes with a shape cutter.

4.

Make a hole through the bird’s wings using a needle.

5.

Varnish the pigeon and insert a piece of string for hanging.

Amusante creaties van Silk Clay

Deze amusante creaties zijn geboetseerd met Silk Clay op een basisframe gemaakt van draad. Lametta haar is op de schepsels bevestigd.

Use pliers for making a frame from stub wires. Bend to make an inverted vertical “V” and finish both ends horizontally to make feet.

Tie or attach the lametta at the head/top of the frame. Model Silk Clay over this area and the rest of the frame.

Make Silk Clay eyes, mouth etc. and press securely in place onto the creatures face.

Adjust the creature’s legs and feet to make it balance, enabling it to stand on its own. You may add shoes made from Silk Clay.

Een gezellige Kerst

Uitgerolde Wood Clay uitgestanst met uitsteekvormen en gedecoreerd met 3D Liner.

Roll out Wood Clay (to an approx. 3mm thickness) and cut out the gingerbread men with the shape cutter. Remember to make a hole at the top for hanging before the gingerbread men are dry.

Bake the gingerbread men in the oven for one hour at 100°C. Turn them over after 30 minutes so that each side gets 30 minutes.

Take the gingerbread men out of the oven and place them on a piece of card for a moment to remove the last bit of damp from the clay. Thread a temporary piece of string through the hole and hang them us freely so they finish drying.

Decorate with a 3D-Liner and thread a decorative ribbon through the hole when the 3D-Liner is completely dry.

Paasdieren van chenilledraad en Silk Clay

Van chenilledraad zijn lijven gemaakt met ogen, snavels en neuzen enz van Silk Clay. De dieren zijn daarna bevestigd op een staander gemaakt van foam plaat.

Druk en verfrommel het chenilledraad in elkaar. Laat benen en oren uitsteken.

Roll small white and black Silk Clay balls for eyes. The white ones should be larger than the black ones. Also roll or shape a beak or a nose and attach these parts onto the pipe cleaner animal without using glue. Silk Clay has the consistency which makes this possible, before drying.

If you wish to use these Easter animals as a decoration for hanging, then attach a piece of elastic beading cord or a piece of string onto the heads. If they are to be used for standing, form a small ball from Silk Clay and attach this between the pipe cleaner and a cut-out foam rubber circle or stand.

Puffed Up Kippen en schapen

Schuursponsjes van metaal met Pop Up Line gemengd met A-Color glossy acrylverf en verhit (gepuffed) met een warmtepistool. De snavel en de ogen zijn gevormd van Silk Clay en gelijmd met een lijmpistool.

Mix the Pop Up Line with A-Color glossy acrylic paint in the ratio 10:1.

2.

Apply a generous coating of the coloured Pop Up Line to the steel scouring metal sponge. Let it dry for 24 hours or until it is completely dry.

3.

Make eyes, heads and beak from Silk Clay and let it dry.

4.

Hold the sponges with flat nose pliers and carefully place the heat gun over the sponge at a distance of approx. 10cm. The colour will now puff up.

5.

Glue the heads, eyes and beak on with a glue gun.

6.

Glue pieces of cotton twine onto the sponges for arms and legs.

7.

Make feet from Silk Clay by applying Silk Clay around the ends of the cotton twine. Glue on feathers as wings.
