Klomp kabouters
De kleine houten klompen zijn geverfd en handen gemaakt van Silk Clay zijn erop bevestigd en hoofd met haar van wit gekaarde wol. De kaboutermuts is een geverfde kegel van papier-mâché.
1.
Make a hole at the heel of the wooden clog with an awl.
2.
Paint the wooden clog and the cone with Plus Color.
3.
Paint dots on the wooden clog.
4.
Attach the flax twine.
5.
Make hands from Silk Clay and attach them onto the clog with a glue gun.
6.
Attach the head with a glue gun.
7.
Attach the hair also using a glue gun.
8.
Attach the pixie hat (the cone) onto the hair using a glue gun.

Kuikens gemaakt van gipsgaas
Deze kuikens zijn gevormd van bonsaidraad, bedekt met gipsgaas en geverfd met een dikke laag A-Color glasverf. Gebruik glas-en-porseleinstiften voor het aanbrengen van details. Houten iconen zijn gebruikt als voeten.
1.
Vorm een kuiken van bonsaidraad. Je kunt hiervoor de sjabloon gebruiken.
2.
Bevochtig het gipsgaas in water en bedek de vorm van bonsaidraad met vier of vijf lagen gaas. Stijk het gaas iedere keer glad voordat je een volgende laag aanbrengt. Laat drogen.
3.
Verf de vorm met A-Color Glasverf. Dit geeft een glanzend en ondoorzichtig oppervlak. Breng bij voorkeur twee lagen verf aan.
4.
Maak de patronen en details met glas-en-porseleinstiften.
5.
Verf de houten icoon met zwarte verf.
6.
Boor twee gaatjes in de houten icoon om de poten van het kuiken in te plaatsen.
7.
Duw de poten van het kuiken in de voorgeboorde gaten. Gebruik eventueel een beetje lijm om het kuiken goed vast te zetten.

Robotten
Dit zijn levensechte robotten gemaakt van kartonnen dozen, plastic potten, flexibel draad en geboetseerd met Silk Clay. Ze zijn gedecoreerd met Plus Color acrylverf en kralen.
1.
Make a hole in two plastic tubs for the feet.
Then make holes in the box for the arms and legs.
2.
Make the legs from flexible cord with self-hardening clay feet.
3.
Then attach the arms and the legs onto the body of the robot (the cardboard box) with a glue gun.
4.
Make the head and other loose parts in Silk Clay.
5.
Glue on the head using the glue gun.
6.
Paint the robot with Plus Color. Give it two coats to give it a great finish.
7.
Finally decorate the robot with beads and rings with a silver finish.

Space people and Space creatures
The space people from Uranus are extremely intelligent aliens! But they have one major weakness; they have no eyes. To help the problem, they have used their large brains and developed an advanced technology that helps them to see. That’s why they have eyes on all their belongings and spaceships. Without these objects they cannot see.
The space people are very interested in other space creatures and animals. They catch them and put them in cages for their zoos, but it’s not easy because a lot of the space creatures are very dangerous and certainly not interested in being trapped and living in a cage.

Flexi figuurtjes op skateboards en rolschaatsen
De hoofden van deze Flexi figuurtjes zijn gemaakt van Silk Clay gemodelleerd rond een houten hoofd. Vervolgens zijn de figuurtjes geverfd met Plus Color verf. De skateboard is gemaakt van een houten Manilla label met wielen gemaakt van kralen.
1.
Meng de Silk Clay om de gewenste huidskleur te krijgen. Modellleer de klei om het hoofd van het figuur. Mix the Silk Clay modelling clay to get a desired skin colour. Model the Silk Clay around the flexi figure’s head. Het hoofd wordt geleverd met een houten deuvel voor eenvoudige bevestiging aan het lichaam.
2.
Maak ogen van Silk Clay en druk deze op het gezicht.

Verf de lichaamsonderdelen en het skateboard met Plus Color verf en laat drogen.
4.
Lijm de verschillende onderdelen van het figuurtje aan elkaar met een lijmpistool. Bevestig chenilledraad voor het haar.
5.
Gebruik zwarte houten kralen voor de wielen van het skateboard. Lijm deze onder het skateboard en de schoenen (voor de rolschaatsen).

Eten voor de koelkastdeur
Gezond – of niet… dat is aan de mini-eten kunstenaar. Maak een grappige magneet voor een whiteboard of de koelkastdeur.
1.
Maak biefstuk, worst, brood en nog veel meer in houtklei en wit brood, salade, eieren, kaas, etc. in zijde klei. De hamburger heeft lijm en sesamzaadjes aan de bovenkant.

Lijm de magneten aan de achterkant met een lijmpistool.

Modelling
These flat sheep are very easy to make and can be used for hanging in natural twine or on a stick in a flower pot.
The sheep’s coat is made of Silk Clay. Roll a small thin sausage in Silk Clay ca. 4-5cm long. Shape it into a flat spiral. Put it in on plastic pocket. Repeat and place the spirals next to each other. Silk Clay sticks by itself. Keep adding more Silk Clay flat spirals until the sheep’s body measures approx. 5x7cm. NB: Leave a small gap between the spirals at the top, if you wish to attach a piece of string for hanging later.
Sheep’s head and legs: Form a rounded triangle in Wood Clay and press it slightly flat and attach a set of ears. Push in two black beads for eyes and put the sheep’s head onto the Silk Clay body. Roll small legs from Wood Clay and stick them up in the Silk Clay body. If you wish to attach the sheep to a stick, then push the stick into the Silk Clay body. No need to use glue. Let it dry on the plastic pocket. Attach a piece of natural twine for hanging.
Younger children can just roll small balls instead of spirals for the sheep’s wool.

3D afbeeldingen met Silk Clay
Witte Silk Clay is geboetseerd en direct geplaatst op het canvas paneel en vervolgens beschilderd met Plus Color verf. Uiteraard kun je er ook voor kiezen om gekleurde Silk Clay te gebruiken.

1.
Boetseer figuurtjes in verschillende delen van Silk Clay en bevestig deze op het Canvas paneel. Bevestig ogen op het hoofd van je figuurtje.
2.
Wanneer je boetseerwerk helemaal droog is, verf je de 3D figuren en de achtergrond met Plus Color verf in kleuren naar keuze.
3.
Wanneer je paneel klaar is, bevestig je het in het frame met een lijmpistool.

Kerstelfen met krinkelmutsen van chenilledraad
Feestelijke kerstelfen in bloempotjes geverfd met A-Color matt. De krinkelmutsen zijn gemaakt van chenilledraad en de grappige ogen maken deze kerstelf af. Neuzen zijn gemaakt van Silk Clay.
Vader elf en moeder elf hebben mutsen van vilt en de ogen en de neus zijn gemaakt van Silk Clay. Het haar is gekaarde wol met leer dat gemakkelijk te knippen en te lijmen is.

Verf de styropor bal met A-Color matt.

Rol van Silk Clay ballen voor de ogen.

Lijm de ogen van Silk Clay (of grappige plastic ogen) op de bal.

Verf de bloempotjes met A-Color matt. Maak stippen met de achterkant van de steel.
