Een masker in neon kleuren

Dit prettig draagbare masker van kunststof met velours afwerking is geverfd met A-Color neon verf. Decoraties zijn geknipt uit foam vellen.

1.

Teken de gelaatstrekken op het masker met een zwarte stift.

2.

Verf het masker met A-Color Neon verf en laat het drogen.

3.

Knip wimpers en zo uit een foam vel en bevestig deze vormen op het masker met behulp van een lijmpistool.

Ridder cape

Maak een cape voor de kruisvaarders, Arthur’s ridders van de Ronde Tafel of met je eigen symbool. Gemaakt van vilt met het symbool erop gelijmd.

Cut the felt to the desired length (measure from the shoulder down to the knee).

Fold the felt two times over the middle to establish where the neck opening should be.

Cut out a hole for the neck

Cut a slit in the neck opening approx. 6-12cm.

Now draw and cut out your desired symbol on the felt in a different color.

Brush the symbol with hobby glue and glue it onto the middle of the knight’s cape.

Variant of the knight’s cape

This knight’s cape is made of blue felt with a symbol consisting of a yellow circle and a red horse.

Ketting met sluiting

Tigertail is ijzerdraad bedekt met een plastic coating. Dit maakt het draad flexibel en gemakkelijk om mee te werken. Sieradendraad is ook sterk en kan veel kralen dragen zonder kracht of vorm te verliezen.

Sieradendraad met veel strengen is zachter en wordt gebruikt voor delicate en lichte kralen. Terwijl sieradendraad met minder strengen ideaal is voor grote en zware kralen. Als het sieradendraad gevuld is met kralen tot de gewenste lengte, sluit af met een slot. We hebben het u gemakkelijk gemaakt door een starterset samen te stellen die een goede basis biedt om snel te starten met sieraden maken. Uiteraard kunnen de onderdelen ook los worden gekocht.

Start by threading a bead tip and a crimp bead onto the wire. Squeeze the crimp bead flat.

Cut off the beading wire right after the crimp bead.

3.

Close the bead tip around the crimp bead. Thread beads onto the beading wire.

4.

Use the same closing procedure at the opposite end. At this end, squeeze the crimp bead flat into the bead tip. Fill the beading with beads but do not make it too tight.

Attach the clasp:
Insert a round jump ring into the loop of the bead tip and close it with two flat nose pliers. Slightly twist the ends past each other whilst they scrape against each other. Only twist to the side – never apart.

6.

When the two ends of the round jump ring are exactly opposite each other, finish twisting.

7.

Before closing the round jump ring at the other end, attach a lobster claw clasp.

TIPS:
A clasp and round jump rings easily add another 2 or 3cm to the length of the necklace. Include this in the desired finished length.

Variant: Individual beads on the wire. The beads are held in place with crimp beads. Squeeze the crimp bead flat with crimping pliers. Place the crimp bead and squeeze as shown on each side of the bead.

Squeeze the crimp bead flat, forming a curve.

11.

Assemble the curve to make a round bead using the outer jaws on the pliers.

De kralencarrousel- handig voor

Wanneer je heel veel kleine kraaltjes wilt rijgen, is de Kralencarrousel een uitkomst. Bevestig je rijgdraad door een gebogen rijgnaald, laat de Kralencarrousel ronddraaien door aan hendel in het midden te draaien en de naald zal zich automatisch vullen met kralen.

Knip een stuk kralenrijgdraad op maat, ca 70cm, en haal het door het oog van de naald.

2.

Vul de Kralencarrousel met Rocailles (bij voorkeur heel veel, want dat werkt het beste).

3.

Steek de naald in de draaiende kralen in de tegenovergestelde richting van de draairichting van de Kralencarrousel.

4.

Draai met uw linkerhand de hendel in het midden met de klok mee en houd de naald zoals aangegeven met de haak naar links. De naald zal zich automatisch vullen met kralen.

5.

Duw de kralen van de naald op de draad. Als een kraal vastzit aan de naald of draad, plet die kraal met een platbektang.

Afwerken met eindkappen

There are many different end caps: Some are flat, others are round. They can have different configurations, and the diameter of the hole size may vary. Common to all end caps is that they have a ring or a loop at one end to which you may attach a clasp.

The selection available allows for using different kinds of cotton yarn, macramé cord  as well as silicone and leather cords for jewellery making. The important thing is that the cord is attached correctly inside the end cap. End caps are available for squeezing or gluing onto the cord. The end caps which are squeezed are suitable for textile cord, which can be squeezed without breaking. They have an opening along the side.  Place the cord ends on one part of the opened end cap and squeeze the sides around the cord ends one at the time with flat nose pliers. Other end caps require a small amount of glue before squeezing them around the cord. Quite a few end caps need glue when attaching the cord ends. These are suitable for all types of chain and cord. The glue must be flexible, strong and moisture-resistant . Super Attak Instant Glue is very suitable. Apply a small blob of glue inside the end cap and insert one or more cord ends into the end cap and the glue.

Fold-over Cord Ends:
Place the cord (3mm) inside the fold-over cord end. Squeeze the sides one at the time.

Squeeze using flat nose pliers.

3.

Attach a clasp to the loop on the fold-over cord end with a round jump ring.

A variant:
May be used for several thin cords (2mm).

End Cap (2mm):
Apply a small blob of Super Attak Instant Glue into the end cap. Insert the cord (2mm) into the end cap and glue.

6.

End Cap (6mm):
Gather several cords with masking tape. Glue the cords together.

7.

Squeeze the cord ends with flat nose pliers so that they fit into the end cap before the glue has dried.

8.

Apply a small amount of glue into the end cap. Insert the bunch of cord ends into the end cap and glue.

Elastisch koord

Elastisch koord is het directe pad naar succes. Het is gemakkelijk te gebruiken en het resultaat is verbazingwekkend. Zelfs als je de omvang van de pols van diegene waarvoor je de armband maakt niet kent. De armband is snel en gemakkelijk aan en af te doen en de kans is groot dat het daarom een favoriet sieraad zal worden. Elastiek is verkrijgbaar in verschillende diktes. Basisregel is een zo dik mogelijk koord te kiezen dat nog net door het gat van de kraal past.

Thread the bead onto a piece of beading cord, attach a peg or a clip on the end to prevent the beads from falling off.

Tie a double or triple reef knot.

Pull the beading wire apart to either side to tighten the knot. When you let go, the elastic locks itself.

A TIP:
Apply a small blob of Super Attak Instant Glue onto the knot, just for safety’s sake.

5.

Cut off the excess beading cord. Hide the knot inside the last bead.

Een Armband met Kralen en Elastiek

Fashion mix kralen in trendy kleuren worden geregen met zwart elastisch koord in een mooi patroon. De kralen zijn verkrijgbaar in een verscheidenheid aankleuren, waarmee je jezelf kunt uitleven.

1.

Knip een stuk elastisch koord van ca. 60cm. Rijg een kraal op het midden van het snoer. Rijg nog twee kralen op elk uiteinde van het koord aan weerszijden van de middelste kraal.

2.

Rijg een andere kraal door de twee uiteinden van de andere kant.

3.

Trek strak aan.

4.

Rijg nog twee kralen op elk uiteinde van het koord aan weerszijden van de middelste kraal. Rijg een andere kraal door beide koord uiteinden Ga zo verder.

5.

Steek één einde van het elastische snoer door de eerste kraal.

6.

Knoop strakke reefknopen om de knopen te ‘vergrendelen’.

Vlechttehniek

De amband is gevlochten van polyester koord met een eenvoudige techniek met kralen ertussen. De koorden zijn vastgezet op een clipboard. De uiteinden van het koord zijn afgehecht door deze te smelten.

A clip board  is used for starting and supporting the braiding. Attach the pieces of cord under  the clip. Thread beads onto the middle piece of cord.

Follow steps 2 to 9. Start again and switch from right to left until the desired length is reached.

Push up the beads when they are needed.

Place the middle cords parallel and braid an extra piece of cord over the two middle cords.

Cut off the ends leaving approx. 1cm.

Melt the ends one by one with a lighter and immediately push them into the braided piece with  a pair of scissors (for example) so they melt together.
