Bloemige armbanden

Dit zijn armbanden die schoolmeisjes zelf kunnen naaien en die op dit moment zeer populair zijn.

Een stuk breed elastisch koord is in de lengte vastgenaaid aan mercerised katoendraad en organza lint (die tijdens het naaien licht geplooid wordt) Bloemen en knopen in felle kleuren worden op dezelfde manier bevestigd.
De techniek kan ook op vele andere artikelen worden toegepast zoals haarbanden, etuis, tasjes, broches enz. Veel plezier.

Sew wide elastic cord together in the size you want the bracelet to be. Sew on organza ribbon on whilst gathering the ribbon slightly as you sew.

Now sew on felt flowers and buttons along the entire length until the bracelet is covered.

Ketting

Een ketting met een prachtige antieke afwerking gemaakt op een dunne ketting met embossed metalen links en handgemaakte glaskralen.

Cut a piece of chain measuring approx. 1m. Attach the pendant to the middle of the chain and then pull both ends of the chain through the large bead.

Put beads onto the chain on each side.

Pull the chain through the two loops of the flat disc pendant.

Put a blob of glue into the end cap before putting the chain into the end cap. Then squeeze the end cap with flat nose pliers.

Fit a round jump ring in each side. In one side fit the round jump ring with the claw clasp.

Take two pieces of hard foil and stick them together using double-sided adhesive tape.

Cut rosettes in card in different sizes using the template.

Draw the rosettes onto the hard foil and cut out.

Attach double-sided adhesive tape.

Attach one end of the ribbon onto the double-sided adhesive tape.

Twist the ribbon tightly around the rosette, covering it completely. Fasten the other end of the ribbon with double-sided adhesive tape.

Make a small bow in the same ribbon.

Glue on a small rose and glue the bow onto the rosette.

Now glue all the rosettes onto the hair band – start with the largest rosette. They should all overlap.

Een trendy en grappige ketting met een rustieke look. De knopen en houten kralen zijn geverfd met Plus Color acryl verf en licht geschuurd met schuurpapier. Vervolgens zijn ze geregen op waxkoord.

Paint wooden beads and buttons with Plus Color Craft Paint.

When the paint has dried completely, sand lightly.

Thread the beads onto a lightly waxed soft cotton cord.

Thread the buttons onto the cord alternately on each side. Then pull hard so that they look like they are tiled.

Tie two or three knots between the beads and buttons behind the last button.

Attach the French Ear Wire to the eye pin.

Put glass beads onto the eye pin and turn to form a new loop.

Cut small pieces of jewellery chain. Attach these to the eye pin with a round jump ring.

Ketting met agaat kralen en zilver

Prachtige agaat kralen en kralen van geborsteld zilver gecombineerd met een ketting van Sterling zilver en Sterling zilver draad.

Make a double loop at the end of a piece of silver wire. Attach the pendant onto the wire which is then bent with round nose pliers.

Bend the loop slightly backwards and twist the end around the wire.

Thread a new piece of silver wire through the loop and twist to make a new loop. If you cut a long piece of wire for this step you will not waste very much of it.

Thread the beads onto the wire and attach this onto the middle of a piece of chain. Do this by making another loop.

Make two sets of chain on each side. The rest of the necklace is sterling silver chain.

Zwarte agaat kralen ketting

Een lange, simpele ketting met zwarte agaat kralen in 3 verschillende maten en 2 zilveren kralen als accent. Gesloten met knijpkralen.

Cut a piece of beading wire to the desired length. We have chosen the deluxe beading wire which has 19 strands. It is more soft and flexible and “hangs” better. Thread three different sizes of agate beads and a couple of silver beads onto the wire.

Close the necklace as follows: finish each side with a crimp bead and a small bead. Thread each end through the three beads on the opposite side as shown. Pull the wire tightly and squeeze the crimp beads flat with flat nose pliers.
