Visuele kunst

De karakters en de achtergrond zijn getekend met Gallery aqua crayons. Doe een beetje water op het aquarelpapier. De karakters worden uitgeknipt en met 3D foam pads op en in de lijst geplakt.

Verf de collage lijst met Pigment primer, een uitstekende primer. Teken een liefelijke achtergrond op een stuk aquarelpapier. Teken op een ander stuk aquarelpapier een ontwerp voor de voorgrond. Schilder over met water. Knip de achtergrond op maat en lijm deze op de basis van de collage lijst.

Knip de karakters uit en bevestig 3D foam pads op de achterkant en plak de karakers op. Laat sommige delen uitsteken.

Fold a single piece of paper measuring 30.5 x 30.5cm diagonally to make triangle.

Unfold the paper and fold it the other way – you now have two folded creases.

Open up and fold all four corners towards the middle.

Fold one side towards the middle as shown in the picture.

Repeat the procedure with the other side.

Open up and repeat the procedure with the remaining two sides.

Open up and fold one of the four triangles towards the middle. The point of the triangle should meet in the middle.

Repeat this procedure with the other three triangles.

Apply double-sided adhesive tape on the back of two opposite triangles – do not yet remove the white protective layer of the tape.

Open up two opposite flaps and attach double-sided adhesive tape on the back.

Push down the flaps with the double-sided adhesive tape into the base of the box.

Fasten the two small triangles mentioned in stage 9.

Unfold the paper and fold the two long sides towards the centre of the paper.

Fold the corners as shown in the picture.

Fold the paper tightly.

Press down so the bottom edges are flush with each other at the base of the box.

Cut two paper strips each measuring 2.5 x 30cm.

Attach the paper strip using a piece of double-sided adhesive tape on the inside of the lid.

Fold the paper strip around the outside of the lid.

Cut off the excess paper.

Attach a piece of double-sided tape to the end of the paper strip.

Tuck it inside the lid.

Repeat on the opposite side.

Take a metal brad and five Christmas ornament die-cut paper strips or use a template to cut out the strips.

Assemble the rosette as shown in the pictures 36, 37 and 38.

Cut a hole in the middle of the lid.

Push the metal brad through the hole of the lid.

Separate the legs on the inside of the lid.

Coole kerstgezelligheid in de huiskamer

Een ijsbeer met uitgestanste sneeuwvlokken van goud metallic karton met parelmoer kralen van plastic geregen op natuurlijk koord.

1.

Draw the template twice onto the paper. The second must be drawn as a mirror image of the first, so the right side of the paper is facing outward on both sides when glued together.

2.

Cut them out.

3.

Punch out two snow flakes in both sizes from gold metallic card.

4.

Cut a piece of natural twine to your desired length. Remember to include the loop at the top. Tie a knot in one end and pull on beads (you may use a beading needle).

Attach one polar bear onto double-sided adhesive foil and cut out.

6.

Pull off the foil from the other side and attach the twine with beads in the middle of the bear. Attach the other mirror imaged polar bear on top.

7.

Use the same procedure with the snow flakes but use Glue Dots for the assembly.

Lichtvogels gemaakt van karton

De vogels zijn geknipt uit wit karton. Vleugels en staart zijn geknipt uit handgemaakt papier. Hang in het raam of plaats op een tak.

1.

Draw the bird’s body on white card. Draw the tail and wings on the patterned paper.

2.

Cut out all the parts.

3.

Assemble the bird using glue. Remember that the tail must be between the two layers of body as well as the string.

4.

Glue the wings at the top and attach a 3D foam square onto the bottom of the wing.

5.

Make a hole for the eye with a hand punch.

Echte rode Kerstkaarten

Kerstkaarten in traditioneel rode en witte kleuren gedecoreerd met een lieflijk hart.

1.

Cut a piece of red card measuring 15 x 30cm. Fold in half. Cut a piece of patterned card measuring 14 x 14cm and glue it onto the piece of red card.

2.

Cut a piece of white patterned card measuring 5 x 13cm. Make a hole in each corner with a hand punch and insert brads. Glue it onto the left side of the card. Cut a white piece of patterned card measuring 1 x 13cm and glue it onto the right side of the card.

3.

Cut a heart from red card. Draw the same heart on white patterned card and cut 1/2cm inside the line. Glue it on top of the red heart. Cut two holes in the top of the heart with hole punch pliers and insert a ribbon. Fix the heart onto the card with 3D foam pads.
