Kleurrijke tas gemaakt van Harmony wolkralen

Een tas gemaakt van Harmony wolkralen geregen op een macramé koord en aan elkaar genaaid. De binnenkant is gemaakt van katoenstof.

1.

Cut a piece of the pink macramé cord to the length you want for the strap of the bag.
Then use a needle to thread the wool beads onto the macramé cord.

Make six cords, each with ten wool beads on each row.
Then sew the rows together along and across using the needle and the macramé cord, thus making the sides for the bag.

This should be done twice.

Then sew the two sides together with needle and macramé cord. Attach the shoulder strap when you have finished sewing the sides.

Cut a double piece of cotton fabric measuring 20cm x 12 cm for the inner lining.
Sew three sides together on the sewing machine.
(Zigzag along the edges of the fabric to avoid fraying).

Finally sew on the inner lining with a needle and sewing thread.

Vivi Gade vilt elfen

De hoed en het lijf zijn genaaid van Vivi Gade vilt. Rondgebreide tube is gebruikt voor de armen en benen en de geverfde schoenen en handen zijn eraan gelijmd. Polyester vulsel is gebruikt voor de binnenkant van het lijf en het haar is gemaakt van garen.

Cut out the pattern but add no seam.

Sew the body together, wrong side against wrong side, with buttonhole stitches.

Sew the arms on approx. 2cm from the neck with backstitches. The arms are approx. 16cm long without folded hem.

Sew on the bottom with buttonhole stitches.

Sew on the legs in the bottom’s reverse side with backstitches.

Sew the hat together in the back middle with buttonhole stitches.

Sew along the edge with buttonhole stitches.

Paint the straw shoes white with plus Color.

Glue the legs onto the bottom of the straw shoes using a glue gun.

Make an inward turning on the arms before gluing on the hands with a glue gun.

Fill the bottom of the body with plastic pellets.

Fill the rest of the body with polyester stuffing.

Sew the head onto the body with backstitches.

Gather the hair in the middle and tie a couple of knots.

Glue on the hair with a glue gun.

Place the hat on the head and tie on a scarf.

Decoratief kussen met schelpen

Hoor de oceaan in dit kussen bedrukt met schelpen en tekst.

Use a refill plastic bottle with a tip. Fill it with textile paint and write your text. It is important that the tip touches the textile when writing or else it smudges. Let it dry thoroughly.

Dab white paint onto the foam stamp and press on top of the text. Let it dry.
Finally draw around the seashells with the plastic bottle. Fix the textile with heat from the iron on top of grease proof paper for approx. 5 min.

Textiel

Je kan een zomerjurk maken voor je bikini van twee krinkel zijde chiffon sjalen. Verf de zijde chiffon met zijde verf op waterbasis met stoomfixatie, knip de sjaal en naai aan elkaar.

Zet het frame voor zijde verven in elkaar:
Om een frame te maken zet 2 sets met 2 kanten in elkaar – elke zijde met een afmeting van 120 cm

Bevestig elastieken aan de spanhaken en bevestig deze aan de zijden van het frame aan de bovenkant.

Bevestig de spanhaken aan het zijde. Zet het frame strak, zodat het zijde gespannen wordt.

If you brush the silk with water first, then it is easier for the colour to run without drying too quickly (and forming blotches).

When it comes to colouring two pieces of silk, it’s a good idea to count the drops of colour in the same volume of water. The colour here is very diluted. You can add more colour gradually if you wish.

Paint a flower in one corner of the wet silk with undiluted paint. You can draw soft lines towards the opposite corner.

When dry, paint the dots in the middle of the flower. Use undiluted purple paint.

You can outline the petals with water if you wish. This shifts the colour and highlights the shapes.

Wrap the silk in cotton fabric. Silk should not touch silk. Then wrap the fabric in aluminum foil, and put on a stone in a large pot with some water. Before putting on the lid on the pot, put a towel in-between to absorb condensation. Fix the silk for 1½ – 2 hours, then rinse and iron.

Cut off the three corners. See the drawing. Make straps from the off-cuts, sew together, turn and stitch. On the back, cut down approx. 10cm and sew a rolled edge: Fold over approx.   2-3mm, sew a small stitch on both edges. Pull the thread after a few stitches and the edge will roll.

Sew the sides together. Make pleats so that the circumference fits. Cut bias bindings from the off-cuts. Sew these onto the front and turn over and stitch on by hand.

At the opening on the back, sew a loop to form a fastener Glue two rhinestones together for  the button. Sew on rhinestones on the front as decoration.

Handwerk

Vilten houder voor glas en onderzetter van zwaar natuurlijk Harmony vilt, bestempeld met Textiel solid textielverf en aan elkaar genaaid met Harmoni borduurgaren.

Felt holders for glass

Cut out the felt following the template and then stamp the pattern onto the felt. Finish by sewing the holder together.

The trivet

Cut a large piece of felt measuring 20 x 20cm and nine pieces of felt measuring 6 x 6cm. Stamp on the pattern and sew the parts together as shown.

Trendy tas van vilt

Genaaid van 2 cirkels van wolvilt. Gedecoreerd met in toppen gekamde wolvilt vastgezet met een viltnaald. Het hengsel is gemaakt van wolkralen geregen op een draad.

Draw a circle on cardboard with a diameter of 27cm.

Fold in half.

Put the fold so it fits the fold of the felt and draw.

Cut out.

Felt rainbow combed wool onto the blue circle.

Put bead on as shown in the picture.

Move the bead as shown in the picture.

Tighten the thread.

Sew down in the felt at every bead.

Sew a wool bead on the outside of one of the circles.

Thread alternately wooden beads and wool beads on the thread. Use e.g. flat-nose pliers.

End step 13. Put the two circles into one another.

Glue the two circles together where they overlap each other using textile glue.

Let it dry for approx. 15-20 minutes.

Put the two circles into each other and press using a book. Let it dry. Repeat the steps on the opposite side.

Sew a string through from the back.

Cut out a piece of leather measuring 2.5x9cm.

Round off the edge at the one end and cut out a hole for a wool bead.

Put the leather down over the wool bead and turn the bag.

Tas

Tas met een school vissen in een net. Gedecoreerd met textielstiften, zijdegaren en kralen.

Make the bag yourself:
Cut out the fabric in the same width as the net scarf, and as long as you wish.

Zigzag all edges of the fabric.

Decorate the fabric with fabric marker: a school of fish and waves.

Sew the bag together at the sides. Sew the fabric and net scarf at the same time.

Sew pleats to form the bottom of the bag.

Sew a tube for the shoulder strap which is then turned inside out. Stitch along the edge.

Pleat the bag at the sides and sew the strap through all the layers making the bag narrower.

Double over the upper edge of the bag and stitch.

Twist four strings of silk yarn, long enough to reach all the way around the top edge of the bag.

10

Weave the twisted piece of yarn through the netting and attach random beads in-between.
