Diverse portretten

Dit spannende schilderij is gemaakt vann een foto die m.b.v. een projector op canvas is overgezet. De foto is eerst in het computerprogramma “Google Picasa” bewerkt. Daarna hebben we stiften en Plus Color acrylverf gebruikt.

Download Google Picasa. Edit the photo in Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Standard photos may be scanned and saved on the computer as a jpg file).

1. Start by change the photo into black/white

2. Adapt the size depending on the quality of the photo – reduce by 20 to 50%.

3. Adjust the brightness and the contrast.

Open Picasa copy in the photo:

1. You may make the photo sharper in “Sharpens”
2. Open “Edit in Picnik”

3. Crop in “Effect”

4. Open “Sandbox effects”

5. Select “Adjustable threshold” and adjust the photo.

6. You may finish using the adjustment “Hardlight”

Save the finished photo in Picasa and print it out.

Paint the entire canvas white and let it dry.

Using a projector, transfer the photo to the canvas using a pencil or a marker pen.

First draw the edge or the outline with a marker pen.

Then paint the rest using a brush and Plus Color. Be especially thorough with the eyes, the mouth and the nose.

You may paint part of the image using a different colour for contrast.

Finish with minimum two coats of mat acrylic lacquer. The first coat of lacquer must be completely dry before applying the second coat.

Glasdecoraties

Glazen schaal gedecoreerd met mooi handgemaakt papier, foto’s en tekeningen. Het papier wordt gescheurd in smalle stukjes en dan op de achterkant van de schaal gelijmd met VTR Adhesive. Dep tot slot Plus Color acrylverf op de achterkant van het glas.

Tear the luxury paper into small pieces and glue onto the glass dish with VTR adhesive. You may put a photo of your child onto the glass dish first.

When you have finished decorating the dish and it is dry, trim the edges for a neat finish.

Grottekeningen

Een ikoon van hout is geverfd met Plus Color acrylverf met een schuurspons en een sponskwast. Het ontwerp is getekend met Gallery Oliepastels. De details zijn gemaakt met een rubberen structuurkam in de natte verf.

We zijn geinspireerd door de menselijke behoefte zich creatief te uiten sinds het begin der tijden. U kunt via Google heel veel afbeeldingen vinden met het zoekwoord “grottekeningen”. Deze fantastische activiteit is gemakkelijk te doen. Een Easy Kit is ook beschikbaar, zodat het makkelijk is om te beginnen. Stap-voor stap instructies zijn inbegrepen.
