Sieraden maken

Een kleurrijke armband van vilt met rocaille kralen. Sluiting met een knoop en een lus gemaakt van kralen.

Cut the felt into the desired width and length.

Write the text with a pencil or a 24 hour marker. (The colour of this will disappear after 24 hours).

Embroider with two rocaille beads at a time. Start by fastening the thread on the reverse. Sew onto the front, pull two beads onto the thread, sew down and up through the felt and in through the two beads. Pull two new beads onto the thread and sew down and up through the felt and in through the two newest beads. Continue. Fasten well on the back after each letter.

Make a knot from beads in one side.

Make a loop from beads in the other side.

Grappige kabouters met rozige wangen

Poppenlijfen gekleed als kabouters en gepresenteerd met rendier.

Cut out the parts for trousers, waistcoats and skirts from grey felt. See the text on the template.

Sew the parts together with small backstitches and turn.

Cut hats and jumpers from red felt.

Straighten the arms and glue on the hands.

Sew the jumpers together with backstitches in one side and turn. Put the jumper on the Mother Pixie and sew the other side of the jumper together. Smooth the stitches so they lie horizontally.

Put the trousers on the Father Pixie, tack the waist and tie. Glue boots on the Father Pixie and Mother Pixie. Let the pixies stand in their boots before the glue dries, to make them stable when standing.

Cut the pocket from red felt. Glue a crochet lace border onto the reverse side of the apron at the bottom, at the top of the apron, on the pocket and as braces. Glue the pocket on.

Sew red thread in the buttons and glue them on. Cut a small square of red felt, tack around the edge and glue it onto the trousers.

Glue on the wool as hair. Sew the hats together and glue them on.

Paint the angel.

Make dots with the end of a brush.

Cut hair from paper yarn, glue it on. You could make a hairdo by twisting the hair round, then attach with some glue.

Cut a piece of a silver pipe cleaner.

Twist round to make a halo and glue it on.

Glue felt flowers together to make a flower chain and then glue it onto the angel’s hands.

Divide the napkin into three and use the top layer with the design.

Put the napkin on top of the card and draw by following the curves of the card.

Cut along the line.

Brush the card with decoupage lacquer.

Put the napkin pieces on the card and brush on top with decoupage lacquer.

Cut off any excess.

Cut out Christmas trees in two sizes and colours.

Assemble the trees with double-sided adhesive tape.

Punch a hole in the middle of the Christmas tree with an eyelet setter.

Attach the Christmas tree to the card, pull the ribbon through the hole and tie a bow.

Attach wooden figures to the ribbon using double-sided adhesive tape.

Cut the ribbon to the desired length.
