Decoratief dienblad

Het dienblad is geverfd met zilverkleurige Plus Color en daarna gedecoreerd met glitter gel. Vivi Gade Design ballen (de Stockholm serie) en plastic ballen zijn als decoratie gebruikt.

1.

Paint the tray with Plus Color silver.

2.

Apply an even layer of Glitter Paste on the inside and outside of the tray’s edge. Assemble Vivi Gade Design paper baubles using the instructions on the back of the package. Decorate the tray with these as well as plastic baubles.

Het gebruik van twee verschillende kleuren geeft een fantastische achtergrond.

Start by staining the front of the gift tag by applying Paper Soft Color with circular movements using a foam brush.

Now stamp the design onto the gift tag, preferably with the same colour as the one used for the background. The design always turns out darker when stamped compared to when stained with the foam brush.

When the stamped design is dry, put a flexible stencil onto the gift tag and apply Paper Pen in a matching colour with a pallet knife. Remove the flexible stencil immediately and rinse it thoroughly.

Finish by decorating with Paper Pen and matching ribbon.

Alle Vivis op een rij

Prachtig hangende meisjes van Vivi Gade Design papier met armen en benen gemaakt van papiergaren.

1.

Cut a dress and a hat from each of the paper designs using the templates. Turn the paper so the dress and the hat are different.

2.

Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the dress and the hat and assemble.

3.

Cut the paper yarn to the desired length for arms and legs. Remember they must be long enough to tie a knot at the ends.

4.

Paint the wood buttons (five for each girl).

5.

Pull a bead onto each leg and arm and tie a knot.

6.

Pull the legs through the dress. Lay the arms at the side of the dress. Feed the yarn for the legs up through the dress. Cut a small hole at the top of the dress for the yarn’s exit.

7.

Glue the ends of the arms and legs into the head.

8.

Cut a piece of cotton yarn for hanging. Pull the yarn down through the hat and glue both ends into the head, forming a loop.

9.

Put the last bead on top of the hat by pulling the yarn end through the bead.

Kerstdecoratie

Een rij engelen gemaakt van één stuk stof en gedecoreerd met lint.

1.

Cut out the pattern from the PDF file.

2.

Fold over the fabric and sew together in the side, outer side against outer side. Turn the fabric inside out so that the outer side is facing outwards.

3.

Now sew three lines with 5½ cm between each line. See the pattern.

4.

Cut a 1½ cm notch down from the top.

5.

Sew the base in each tube with small stitches. Use Mercerised Cotton Yarn.

6.

Fill plastic pellets in the tubes approx. halfway up and the rest with cotton wool or doll stuffing.

7.

Sew tacking stitches in the neck of each tube and pull and fasten.

8.

Dab the end of the crowns in glue and then white glitter. Let them dry.

9.

Glue the head on using a glue gun. Glue on ribbon, decoration and hair.

Sterren van styropor met Pigment Structuurpasta

De sterren van styropor zijn gedecoreerd met grofkorrelige structuurpasta en bestrooid met transparant glitter om er als sneeuwsterren uit te zien. Satijnlint is als ophanglus gebruikt en wordt vastgelijmd met een lijmpistool.

Put the star onto a stick and spread on pigment structure paste.

Sprinkle transparent glitter onto the star whilst the structure paste is still wet.
