Decoraties voor de Kersttafel

De bomen en de decoraties zijn gemaakt door bloemendraad/ijzerdraad in elkaar te drukken, te bestrooien met glitter en te bestrijken met Pop Up Line. De schaal en de knijpers zijn geverfd met Plus Color.

1.

Cut the flower sticks into desired lengths and sharpen one end with a pencil sharpener.

2.

Wind up some floral wire, scrunch together and form into a tree shape. Also form small hearts for place cards and square napkin rings.

3.

Push the flower stick through and lock the floral wire at the bottom.

4.

Apply a generous layer of Pop Up Line. Gently brush across the floral wires.

5.

Immediately sprinkle glitter onto the tree. Allow to dry completely.

6.

Pop up the Line either with a heat gun or in the oven at 150° C for no more than 3 minutes.

7.

Fill the bowl with clay and immediately paint the clay with white Plus Color.

8.

Sprinkle Decorative glitter in the wet paint. Glue the star onto the tree and push the flower stick into the clay.

9.

Glue the floral wire heart onto the place card. Write the name with a piece of chalk.

10.

Glue a feather onto the glass bird’s tail and fasten it onto the napkin ring.

11.

Make dots on the painted clothes pegs using the end of the brush handle.

Kerstdecoratie

Het door ons zelf ontworpen acryl vilt van Vivi Gade Design is geknipt volgens een simpel patroon en aan elkaar genaaid om mooie en elegante kerstdecoraties te maken. Door het combineren van de verschillende patronen worden prachtige effecten bereikt die de kerstsfeer verhogen.

Cut out the fabric using the templates.

Sew the pieces together, front side against front side, so the pixie will have a front and a back.

Sew the front and the back of the pixie together, front side against front side. Only sew approx. 2cm up along the head on both sides, as there must be a hole, so the fabric can be turned inside out and for inserting the filling.

Sew in the bottom and then turn the fabric so that the sides are the right way round.

Fill the bottom with plastic pellets.

Fill the rest of the body with polyester stuffing.

Sew the head together using overcast stitches.

Measure the circumference for the lace ribbon.

Measure the lace ribbon and sew it together by hand.

Pull the lace ribbon down over the pixie’s body and either glue or sew the lace on in approximately four places, placing the lace at the transition to a new facric colour.

Sew the hands onto the arms, outer side against outer side.

Sew the arms together, front side against front side, leave approx. 4cm open so you can turn the sleeve.

Fill the arms with polyester stuffing.

Sew the hole in the arms together using overcast stitches.

Sew in the arms approx. 2cm from the neck line.

Sew the hat together in the middle in the back.

Glue or sew on the eyes.

Glue or sew on the nose.

Secure a pom-pom to the top of the pixie hat.

Cut an appropriate amount of pieces of paper yarn and glue them onto the head.

Cut a scarf measuring approx. 37cm long and 2cm wide. Cut to make frayed ends.

Put the pixie hat on and trim the hair if needed.

Put on the glasses – glue them on if necessary.

Coole kerstgezelligheid in de huiskamer

Een ijsbeer met uitgestanste sneeuwvlokken van goud metallic karton met parelmoer kralen van plastic geregen op natuurlijk koord.

1.

Draw the template twice onto the paper. The second must be drawn as a mirror image of the first, so the right side of the paper is facing outward on both sides when glued together.

2.

Cut them out.

3.

Punch out two snow flakes in both sizes from gold metallic card.

4.

Cut a piece of natural twine to your desired length. Remember to include the loop at the top. Tie a knot in one end and pull on beads (you may use a beading needle).

5.

Attach one polar bear onto double-sided adhesive foil and cut out.

6.

Pull off the foil from the other side and attach the twine with beads in the middle of the bear. Attach the other mirror imaged polar bear on top.

7.

Use the same procedure with the snow flakes but use Glue Dots for the assembly.

Vivi Gade kegel kabouters

Kegels gedecoreerd met Vivi Gade Design papier. De gezichten zijn gemaakt van Silk Clay en de baard is gelijmd met een lijmpistool. De hoed is geknipt m.b.v. een sjabloon met een pom-pom erop gelijmd.

1.

Cut the paper for the cone and hat using the template.

2.

Glue the paper onto the cone.

3.

Fold over the edge of the hat.

4.

Attach double-sided tape onto the edge.

5.

Glue the hat together.

6.

Put a piece of Silk Clay inside the hat.

7.

Attach the hat onto the cone.

8.

Glue on the beards.

9.

Cut off a small of the tip of the hat and glue on a pom-pom.

10.

Form the face and attach beads for eyes.

Kerstdecoratie

Een eenvoudige slinger van gevulde harten van vilt op een lint genaaid.

1.

Paint the wood buttons with Plus Color and let them dry.

2.

Cut out twelve hearts using the template.

3.

Sew the hearts together but leave an opening of 5cm to the heart can be turned inside out. Stuff with polyester stuffing.

4.

Sew the hearts onto the ribbon at the same time as sewing the buttons onto the hearts; all in one process.
