Makkelijk te vouwen cadeaudoosjes
Cadeaudoosjes met Vivi Gade Design papier. Gedecoreerd met voorgestanste motieven en lint.
1.
Draw onto design paper using the box (the back) as a template. Draw a flap of approx. 1cm. Add an extra 1-2mm to the middle of the box.
2.
Cut out the design with care and precision. (The bold lines in this photo are meant as an example to help illustrate the pattern).
3.
Use a bone folder to score by the flap and in the middle fold.
4.
Use a glue stick on the design paper, place the box on top and press the flap flat. Then repeat with the remaining part of the paper.
5.
Cut out designs from the design paper.
6.
Glue on a design with the glue stick.
7.
Press in the end flaps and tie a ribbon around. You may attach small folded pieces of ribbon to the sides.

Cadeau voor oma
Een accordeon boek van papier-mâché (album) geverfd met Plus Color en bekleed met papier van Vivi Gade Design London serie. De foto’s zijn op wit en turquoise karton gemat en bevestigd op de pagina’s van het album. Gedecoreerd met uitgeknipte vogels.
As easy as can be. There is a lot of detailing in the patterns of these sheets of design paper and the very simple decoration (i.e. cut-out birds and the large calm pictures) therefore suits the overall look. A really fun project where older children can also join in. A Fiskars high precision paper trimmer would be a very good tool for this project as it cuts the measurements accurately.

Paint all the edges and the accordion creases with white Plus Color Craft Paint.
2.
Whilst the album dries, decorate the lid and the base of the gift box with paper, cake napkins and red/white checked ribbon.
3.
Cut a piece of paper to cover the sides. Cut the pieces 1/2cm smaller than the measurements of the album.
4.
For this album cut the pictures so they measure 10 x 10cm and mount them onto white card measuring 10.3 x 10.3cm. Mount this onto a piece of turquoise card measuring 11 x 11cm.
5.
Put the picture in the album and decorate with cut-out motifs.

Menu kaart
Deze menu kaart is gemaakt van een stuk gevouwen karton met kleine vakken aan de binnenkant. Geprinte tekst is bevestigd aan de voorkant van de kaart met 3D foam pads en de kaart is dicht gemaakt met een stuk tule en uitgestanste vlinders.

Attach the pockets with double-sided adhesive tape along three of the edges.

Attach a piece of printed paper onto a piece of customized card and insert this into the pocket.

Close the card with a piece of tulle decorated with punched out butterflies.

Een feestelijke fles
Gewikkeld in Vivi Gade Design tissuepapier en cellofaan. Vivi Gade Design decoratief lint en goudkleurig draad zijn om de hals van de fles gewikkeld en gedecoreerd met een lieflijk rendier en een strik gemaakt van papieren strips.
Tie the Vivi Gade ribbon and the gold thread with just a knot which is hidden behind the bow and the reindeer (attached with 3D foam pads).

Assemble the bow as follows with a brad: Bend two paper strips and push the brad through the pre-punched holes. Add another two paper strips and close the brad by pushing the legs to each side.

Het inpakken van het cadeau is bijna net zo belangrijk als het cadeau zelf. Deze cadeaus zijn prachtig ingepakt in cadeaupapier uit de Vivi Gade Design (Helsinki) serie en verder gedecoreerd met lint in bijpassende kleuren.

Servettenring
Een papieren band met een rondelle van papier en tule. Gedecoreerd met wax kralen, gouddraad en uitgestanste vlinders.

Cut out five circles, each with a diameter of 5cm and one circle with a diameter of 4cm.

Fold the five circles in half.

Attach a Glue Dot on the edge of each folded circle.

Then fold in 1/3 of the half circle towards the remaining 2/3 of the circle. Do not press the edges flat. Fold the other four circles using the same procedure.

Attach two Glue Dots onto the back of each of the five folded circles (along the edges).

Attach the first of the five folded circles onto the small 4cm diameter circle; the tip in the middle of the circle.

Attach the remaining four assembled circles as shown:

Gather a piece of tulle measuring 4 x 50cm using tacking stitches.

Tighten the piece of gold thread to make a rondelle. Tie a knot.

Push the gold thread up through the middle of the paper rondelle and through a button as shown.

Feed the gold thread back through the holes of the button. Tie a knot on each ends of the gold thread and glue small punched out butterflies onto the ends of the gold thread.

Make a waist band from two pieces of paper – cut one piece with a pair of edged scissors. The largest of the two should measure 5 x 20cm – cut the other piece slightly smaller. Glue the two pieces together and cut a notch in each end. Assemble by inserting each end into the notches as shown in the photo.

Glue the small tulle and paper rondelle onto the waist band using a glue gun.

Kaart met een mobiele telefoon
Feestelijke uitnodigingen, menukaarten en servetringen voor de tienerjongen. De toetsen van de mobiele telefoon zijn zelfklevende strasstenen en het geruite papier is Vivi Street Design papier (de London serie).
1.
Cut out paper in various sizes and attach to the card.
2.
Cut out a photo and attach it to the card.
3.
Make a hole for the silver-plated wire.
4.
Cut two pieces of silver-plated wire and bend to form a loop at one end of each piece.
5.
Pull three beads onto each wire.
6.
Feed the wires through the hole in the card.
7.
Bend the wires on the back and attach a small piece of card over the wire ends with E-Z runner.
8.
Attach self-adhesive rhinestones to the card.
9.
Attach a piece of checked ribbon onto the card with double-sided adhesive tape.
10.
Cut two small pieces of checked ribbon and attach them onto the card and finish off with a self-adhesive rhinestone.
11.
Make a small bow tie from the ribbon.
12.
A variation with a napkin ring.
Cut a piece of card and attach a piece of ribbon with double-sided adhesive tape and then the same procedure as before. Tie the ribbon in a bow around a rolled up napkin.
