Prachtige maskers

De maskers zijn bedekt met Foam Clay. De flappen op het masker zijn gemaakt van Foam Clay dat uitgerold is op een plastic zakje, gedroogd, uitgeknipt en met verse Foam Clay weer bevestigd.

The Carnival Tradition

In Spanish Cadiz the traditional carnival parades displays colourful masks and headdresses. The famous Mr. Punch hat is often seen in the procession – and we have tried to recreate the style by making so-called flaps using Foam Clay on the full face mask. The flaps could also be made from felt, fabric, metallic foil card etc. Unleash your imagination.

1.

Decorate the papier-mâché mask with Foam Clay and let it dry.

2.

Roll out some Foam Clay with a rolling pin and let it dry for approx. 24 hours.

3.

Cut the rolled out Foam Clay slab into triangles or other shapes using a pair of scissors.

4.

Glue the cut-out shapes onto the mask using more Foam Clay.
