Een vilten tasje gedecoreerd met 3D Neon Liner

Dit vilten tasje is gedecoreerd met 3D Liner in Neon kleuren en kruissteken.

1.

Schrijf een tekst met een verdwijn pen en borduur de tekst met kruissteekjes.

2.

Plaats een Fiskars shape template op de tas en vul de gekozen vorm met 3D Liner.

Eieren in een gebreid en vervilt jasje

Een recht toe recht aan gebreid vierkant is een elkaar genaaid tot een tunnel met aan beide kanten een koord. Doe het plastic ei in de tunnel en naai elk uiteinde aan elkaar met het ei aan de binnenkant. Vilt in de wasmachine.

1.

Plain-knitted squares: for the plastic egg measuring 6cm in diameter, cast on 14 stitches. Knit 40 rows  in plain knitting = 10cm. Cast off.

2.

For the plastic egg measuring 4cm in diameter, cast on 8 stitches. Knit 30 rows in plain knitting = 8cm. Cast off.

3.

Sew the short ends of the square together, forming a tube.

4.

Tack a piece of wool at the top and a piece of wool at the bottom of the knitted tube. Put the egg inside the tube.

5.

Pull both ends of the pieces of wool tacked at the top to close the tube in one end. Secure. Repeat this at the bottom of the tube.

6.

To make a string for hanging, crochet 30 chain stitches for the small egg and 40 chain stitches for the large egg. Felt the egg in the washing machine at 60°. You may pull the egg into shape whilst it is still wet.

De afmetingen van deze geweven afbeelding zijn circa 14 x 14cm. Het is gemaak door dik Fantasia acryl garen, goudkleurig garen en grote plastic kralen te weven op een klein weefraam. Het ophangsysteem is gemaakt van bloemstokken en garen.

Wind the trend thread four times around the first block on the loom. This procedure locks it and keeps it securely in place.

2.

Thread the trend threads back and forth between the blocks on the loom. Finish by winding the thread four times around the last block on the loom.

3.

In order to keep the thread in place safely, you may attach a piece of masking tape on the outside of the loom.

4.

Insert a wide lolly stick at the bottom and the top of the loom through the trend threads in order to create a border to distance to the edge of the loom. This non-woven edge is necessary for enabling you to make tassels from the trend thread afterwards.

5.

Insert/weave the acrylic yarn up and down, back and forth. When changing the colour of the yarn, start and finish from the middle (approx. eight trend threads from the side in order to avoid yarn ends at the sides of the woven picture. All yarn ends should be at the back of the woven picture.

6.

Use the comb to firmly push the woven yarn in place.

7.

Whilst weaving thread beads onto the the yarn and place them between two trend threads and include as part of the weaving.

8.

Remove the lolly sticks and remove the woven picture from the loom. You may remove the masking tape.

9.

Carefully cut open the trend thread loops and tie them around the flower stick in pairs.

10.

Secure the yarn ends on the back of the woven picture. Tie knots and trim. Attach a piece of golden thread onto the flower stick at the top for hanging.

Om thee warm te houden

Deze easy-grip warmhouders voor mokken en theeglazen zijn gebreid van Melbourne garen en vervolgens gevilt in de wasmachine. Ze zijn afgewerkt met knopen en gekleurd elastisch koord.

1.

Gebruik nr. 6 breinaalden om de steken op te zetten met een totale lengte van 40 cm. Gebruik een van de contrasterende kleuren en brei 4 nld van rechte steken (ribbelsteken).

Ga verder met zwart garen en brei 28 nld recht.

Werk af met vier rijen gebreid in dezelfde contrasterende kleur als in het begin en hecht af. De afmeting voorafgaand aan het vilten is 28 x 13cm.
Vilt het gebreide stuk in de wasmachine op 40 ° C. Rek het natte vilten stuk om de beker om het te laten passen.

Naai nu twee knopen aan een kant van het wilten breiwerk.

3.

Haal met een naald, aan de andere kant, een dubbelgevouwen stukje elastisch koord door het vilt. Knoop de uiteinden samen aan de binnenkant, maar zorg ervoor dat er een kleine lus blijft aan de buitenkant van het vilten breiwerk.

Knip een stuk voeringstof ongeveer 20 cm langer aan alle vier de kanten dan de sjaal. Plaats de sjaal op de voeringstof. Knip stukken Merino wol even groot als de breedte van de sjaal. Verdeel de wol in 3 of 4 stukken, in de lengte, en plaats de stukken wol op de sjaal.

Leg een opgerolde natte handdoek aan ééen einde van de sjaal op de 20 cm van de voeringstof. Bevochtig de wol met warm water. Gebruik hiervoor een sproeifles.

3.

Bevochtig de voeringstof, de katoenen sjaal en de plukken Merino wol met water en roll alles op rond de natte handdoek, in die volgorde terwijl je verder gaat met het natmaken van de sjaal en de wol.

4.

Wanneer alles is opgerold, houd je de rol bijelkaar met vier of vijf elastiekjes.

5.

Plaats nu de natte rol in de droger en zet de droger op een normale droogstand voor ongeveer 30 minuten. Hierdoor gaat de wol vervilten en zet die zich ook vast op de katoenen sjaal.

6.

Rol de sjaal uit en check of de wol vervilt is en zich gehecht heeft aan de zwarte sjaal. Wanneer dit niet het geval is, herhaal je het proces van natmaken met warm water en oprollen en leg je het hele pakket nogmaals in de droger voor ongeveer 30 minuten op een normale droogstand.

7.

Vul een emmer met warm water en los daar zeepvlokken in op. Spoel de sjaal en wring goed uit.

8.

Sla met de opgerolde sjaal op de tafel om de wol te laten vilten op de sjaal en om het krimpen van de wol precies goed te krijgen. Spoel 3 x met iedere keer vers, koud water en voeg een beetje azijn toe aan het laatste spoelwater om er voor te zorgen dat alle zeep uitgespoeld is. Leg de sjaal plat te drogen. Je kunt de sjaal op een droge handdoek te drogen leggen.

Haken

De verschillende kleuren die voor deze retro vierkanten zijn gebruikt zorgen voor een prachtig resultaat. Gebruik No.4 haaknaald en Fantasia garen. Te gebruiken voor decoratie of verbind er een aantal samen tot kleedje.

Crochet 6 chain stitches.

2.

Make a ring by finishing with a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.

3.

Using the same colour yarn, cast 3 chain stitches and crochet 15 basic treble stitches into the ring. Finish the ring with a double crochet stitch in the first basic treble stitch.

4.

Change to a different colour yarn and cast 3 chain stitches (these 3 chain stitches form the first basic treble stitch). Then crochet a basic treble stitch into the same hole, so 2 basic treble stitches are formed in the same hole.

5.

Crochet a basic treble stitch into the next 2 holes and 2 basic treble stitches in the next and same hole. Finish the row with 3 chain stitches which form the corner. Repeat the following 4 times: 2 basic treble stitches into the same hole, 1 basic treble stitch, 2 basic treble stitches in the same hole, 3 chain stitches.

6.

Change to a different colour yarn. Start after a corner and cast 3 chain stitches, 1 basic treble stitch into the same hole as the chain stitches, 1 basic treble stitch into the next 4 holes and 2 basic treble stitches in the last hole.

7.

In the hole in the corner, crochet 2 basic treble stitches, 3 chain stitches and 2 basic treble stitches.

8.

Repeat the following for the round: 2 basic treble stitches, 4 x 1 basic treble stitches, 2 basic treble stitches, 2 basic treble stitches, 3 chain stitches, 2 basi treble stitches.

9.

Change to a different colour of yarn for the last round. Start after a corner with a double crochet stitch in each hole, a total of 12 times, to the next corner. In the corner crochet 3 double crochet stitches and continue like this for the rest of the round. Finish and secure the ends.
