Traktatiemandje
Langwerpig gevlochten mandje gemaakt van vier papieren vlechtstroken.
The base of the basket is the same as when you weave stars.

Now fold the base as shown in the photo along all four edges.

Start with two of the corners. Hold them in the same way as shown in the photo.

Always weave over and under. In that way the paper strips lock together.

Tighten so the strips are adjacent to each other.

Take a strip from the right hand side and weave it towards the left.

Take a strip from the left hand side and weave it towards the right.

Attach a Glue Spot in order to keep the two strips together.

Cut off the end of the strip, approx. 1cm from the edge of the woven basket. Attach a Glue Spots onto the small flap, fold it over and secure it on the inside of the basket.

Repeat with all four sides. Make sure to tighten the strips continuously so ensure they are always adjacent to each other.

Cut off the end of the strips and secure as described in step 15.

Use one of the longest cut-off strips as a handle and attach this to the inside of the basket with Glue Spots.

Druppelvormige glaskralen
De druppels zijn geregen op dun zilverkleurig draad en om een dikkere zilverkleurige draad gewonden.
1.
Thread a small bead onto the middle of the wire. Double over the wires and thread ten small beads onto the gathered wires.
2.
Divide the wires and thread 20 medium sized beads onto each wire followed by five large beads; one wire with glass beads and the other with matt white glass beads.
3.
Wind the beads around a 10cm long piece of bonsai wire at one end. Repeat at the opposite end.
4.
Wind the excess thin silver-plated thread around the bonsai wire a couple of times. Make three in total.
5.
Put the pieces on top of each other and assemble with a thin silver-plated wire.
6.
Tie the pieces well together.
7.
Thread the beads alternately onto a thin silver-plated wire. Gather to make a ring and place on top of the whole piece.
8.
Fasten with the excess wire.

Driehoekige kerstelfen
Gemaakt van Vivi Gade Design vilt. Gedecoreerd met knopen, handen, klompen en houten hoofden.

Cut the felt into squares.

Cut a triangle a bit smaller and put it on the square, which is folded.

Sew the triangle together in hand.

Sew a botton on the elf and sew trough the elf so the 2 layers are together.

Glue head, hands and wooden clogs on.

Cut the hat after the templet.

Sew the hat and glue it on the elf head.

Vederlichte decoraties
Deze decoratie is gemaakt van twee papieren vlechtstroken die iets smaller geknipt zijn, gebogen en op een rond karton gelijmd zijn.
If the decoration is intended as a gift, you may glue a photo onto the card circle rather than a wood sticker.

Divide each of the two narrow weaving paper strips into four equal pieces.

Punch out two card circles using the Squeeze Punch.

Double over six of the weaving paper strips and glue them onto the card disc with Clear Marker as shown in the photo.

Glue a piece of silver thread onto the back of the card circle together with two or three feathers.
5
Glue a card circle on top.
6
Attach a wood sticker onto both sides and decorate the silver thread with a couple of mother-of-pearl beads.

Porseleinen bord
Het motief van een servet is aangebracht met Glass Decoupage Lak. Niet-permanente lijm is erop gedept met een kleine, ronde foam kwast – laat drogen. Breng imitatie bladgoud aan. Werk af met een laag Glass Decoupage Lak.

Cut the napkin. Apply Glass Decoupage Lacquer onto the plate where needed. Place the napkin design on and smooth gently with a brush. Apply glue on top as well. Wipe excess glue off the porcelain.

You may cover with masking tape to achieve a stripy design. Dab Non-permanent Adhesive onto the stripe and for making bombs using a foam stencil brush. Let it dry to the touch.

Carefully apply Imitation Metal Leaf.

Smooth with a soft brush. Brush the excess Imitation Metal Leaf with a stiffer brush. Only clean the dish by wiping with a damp cloth.

Schattige kerstdecoratie
Het klassieke muizetrapje krijgt een elegante twist met parelmoerkleurige plastic kralen, een zilveren tassel en witte veren.

Divide an 84cm long weaving paper strip in two and glue these two parts together using Clear Marker as shown in the photo.

Make a concertina from the entire length of the paper strips.

Make a small tassel from the silver thread. Twist the thread ten times around four fingers.
5
Gather the tassel with an approx. 20cm long piece of silver thread. Tie a double knot.
6
Pull a flat wavy mother-of-pearl plastic bead down over the top of the tassel.
7
Pull a small and a large plastic bead onto the thread using a beading needle.
8
Make a hole at the bottom of the concertina and with a beading needle and feed the thread through the hole.

Close the layers with Glue Spots.

Cut open the loops of the tassel.

Push the feather up into the wavy bead. You may apply a small blob of Clear Marker onto the end of the feather beforehand.

Make a hole at the top of the concertina using a needle.

Insert a beading needle threaded with silver thread through the hole and pull on a bead. Finish with a knot.

Kerstdecoraties voor de jonge kinderen
Prachtige uitgestanste kartonnen kerstvormen zijn geverfd met A-color mat. Verf, na droging, met A-color Allround medium lijmlak en bestrooi met glitter als de lijm nog nat is. Gebruik een lint van de Vivi Gade Design (Helsinki serie), om op te hangen.

Paint the cardboard Christmas design with A-Color mat.

Apply A-color Allround medium glue lacquer onto the cardboard Christmas design.

Sprinkle glitter on top of the glue.
4
Attach special double-sided adhesive tape onto the backs of the cardboard Christmas designs.
5
Put a piece of Helsinki fabric ribbon on top of the special double-sided adhesive tape.
6
Put the cardboard designs back against back on top of the ribbon and special double-sided adhesive tape.

Simpele tecniek – Fantastisch effect
Deze prachtige kerstballen gemaakt met plastic zijn gedecoreerd met foliemozaiek en bloempailletten alsook glitter en Foam Clay. Gebruik Clear Marker, A-Color Allround medium laklijm of als lijm voor de glitter en de mozaiekfolie tegels.
1.
Flower sequins glued on with Clear Marker.
2.
Glitter on A-Color Allround medium glue lacquer.
3.
Foam Clay on baubles is self-adhesive.
4.
Foil Mosaic Tiles attached with power tape, A-Color Allround medium glue lacquer or Clear Marker.

Papier-mâché letters gedecoreerd met handgemaakt papier
Grote, mooie letters geverfd met Plus Color en gedecoupaged met handgemaakt papier.
1.
Start by painting the edges of the letters with plus Color.
2.
On the reverse side of the handmade paper, draw around the letters. Fold the paper in half and cut out the letters.
3.
Apply VTR adhesive onto the letters and the reverse of the paper.
4.
Assemble the parts and let them dry.
