Laten we kerstharten vlechten

Uitgestanste harten worden simpel in elkaar gezet. Bevestig een hengsel met dubbelzijdig klevend tape.

Weave hearts from the punched out paper. If necessary see the instructions on the package. Attach the handle with double-sided adhesive tape.

Kerstbomen

Uitgestanste bomen van karton zijn beplakt met Vivi Gade Design decoupagepapier en een lijmstift. Bloemendraad is gebruikt om de sterren in de top te maken.

Glue decoupage paper onto the punched-out trees using a glue stick. Cover both sides of the tree with decoupage paper. Let the glue dry.

Trim the card trees.

3.

Cut one tree half way through at the top and the other at the bottom.

4.

Assemble the tree as shown.

5.

Shape a star from floral wire.

6.

Attach the base of the star onto the Christmas tree with a little bit of glue using a glue gun.

Een tas gedecoreerd met Vivi Gade Design papier

Decoreer de tas met Vivi Gade Design papier uit de Oslo serie, cakeservetten en was met zegel.

1.

Unscrew the top part of the seal and insert the desired seal. Melt the wax over the desired area.

2.

Push the seal into the melted wax.

Prachtige kerstbal van de Vivi Gade serie

Je hebt nodig; papieren vlechtstroken, draad en kralen (zilver of goud) en een tang om de onderdelen in elkaar te zetten.

For one bauble you need one pair of regular pliers, chain nose pliers, approx 25cm beading wire, 3 x 2mm crimp beads, 2 x 3mm wax beads, 2 x 4mm wax beads and 2 x 8mm wax beads.

Choose 8 strips and put them on top of each other.

Push out the pre-punched holes with a thin blunt object.

Thread the wire through the holes of the thickest end of the strips, put an 8mm bead on the wire and thread the wire back through the same hole. Then you have both wires on the same side of the hole. Adjust one of the wires so it measurers 3cm – gather the two wires, thread a 3mm bead and a crimp bead, press the strips tightly together and squeeze the crimp bead flat. Finally cut off the excess wire so you only have a single long wire left.

Put a crimp bead and a 4mm bead on the wire and lead the wire through the holes of the narrow end of the strips.

Thread an 8mm, a 4mm, a 3mm bead and a crimp bead onto the wire.

Make a noose in the wire by leading the wire back through, all the beads, the paper, the bead and the crimp bead. (it  may help to hold the wire through the noose with a needle). See photo.

Squeeze the top crimp bead flat.

Press the strips tight together and press the crimp bead flat. Cut off the extra wire.

Add a thread to the noose and fold out the bauble (this may require a little practice). Have fun!

Een hart

Dit hart is gevormd van bonsaidraad en houten kralen zijn erop geregen.

1.

Shape a heart from bonsai wire. Thread the beads onto the wire.

2.

Gather the ends at the top by twisting. Use round nose pliers to twist to form a loop on each wire end. Attach a piece of natural string for hanging.

Safari dieren met decoupage

Papier-mâché dieren beplakt met Vivi Gade Design decoupagepapier.

1.

Paint the papier-mâché animals with Plus Color Craft Paint.

2.

Tear the decoupage paper in small pieces.

3.

Attach the decoupage paper to the animal with decoupage lacquer both underneath and on top of the decoupage paper.

Prachtige, gekleurde kerstballen

Amusante kerstballen gemaakt van styroporballen omwikkeld met Fantasy acryl garen en gedecoreerd met geverde bloemstokken en knopen.

1.

Paint a polystyrene ball with Plus Color Craft paint and let it dry.

2.

Apply Fix Glue.

3.

Wind yarn randomly around the polystyrene ball.

4.

Paint the flower sticks and the buttons. When dry, glue the buttons onto the sticks and attach to the ball of wool. Finally, tie a piece of yarn to the ball of wool for hanging.
