Goede keuze

Ons Vivi Gade Design papierblok met papier en karton van Vivi Gade Design biedt een enorme hoeveelheid mogelijkheden voor het maken van prachtige decoraties en kaarten in bij elkaar passende kleuren en stijlen. Het papierblok bevat ook sjablonen/knippatronen.

The Paperbook contains 40 sheets of paper and 10 sheets of card. All the ideas below are made using paper from one single Design Paperbook. This still leaves quite a few sheets. You may want to blacken the edges to achieve an old look. You can make small, fine dots using a Paper Pen. Enjoy.

The cutting pattern of the classic woven hearts is available in two variants in the Paperbook. See idea No. 1335 for instructions of how to weave a heart.

Make a double cone by following the instructions in idea No. 11264.

The Vivi Gade folding box is made following the instructions in idea No. 1340.

Lovely to and from cards.

The decorations are assembled in pairs around a ribbon for hanging.

The folded envelope cards are folded from a single piece of paper. These are made by following the instruction in idea No. 11418.

The cards become extra special when decorated with ribbon.

The cutting pattern for these lovely cones is included in the Paperbook.

The parts for the figures on these cards are cut following the templates in the Paperbook.

Using the woven hearts looks really attractive when decorating the cards.

Labels met krijtbordverf

Labels van karton geverfd met krijtbordverf, zodat de naam met krijt erop geschreven kan worden.

Paint one or two layers of blackboard paint onto both sides of the gift tag. When dry, write a name etc. using chalk.

2.

Tie the place card around a rolled up napkin.

Matte waxinelichten met Kerst designs

Waxinelichten bekleedt met servetten en halfronde parels gemaakt met Gloss Gel.

1.

Cut the napkins to the desired size.

2.

Divide the napkin – only use the outer thin layer.

3.

Brush decoupage lacquer onto the candle holder and carefully attach the napkin.

4.

When dry, brush on another layer of decoupage lacquer.

Harten

Vilt de harten met een viltnaald en wol op harten van styropor. De linten om het hart aan op te hangen zijn uit de Vivi Gade Helsinki serie.

Genaaldvilte Kerstdecoraties

Deze prachtige pinguins zijn genaaldvilt op styropor en een knoop dient als statief. Grappige ogen zijn toegevoegd voor een humoristische uitdrukking.

Muizen en harten zijn genaaldvilt op styropor eieren en styropor harten. Bedrukt vilt van de Helsinki serie is toegevoegd aan de muizen. De muizen hebben een lijf gemaakt van een bloempotje geverfd met A-Color matt. Prachtig Helsinki lint is gebruikt om de harten op te hangen.

Felt wool onto the polystyrene item. The longer you felt, the denser the wool becomes.

Push the amusing eyes – adding a blob of glue onto the back of the eye – into the polystyrene item.

Felt the beak, feet and wings separately using a needle felting foam pad.

Felt on the beak, wings and feet.

Felt the hat separately making a thick triangular shape.

Felt the hat onto the front of the head.

Christmas Mice

The needle felted mice’s bodies are small terracotta flower pots painted with A-Color matt. The dots are made with the end of a brush handle. The Christmas hats are small pieces of triangular printed felt from the Vivi Gade Helsinki series glued on with a glue gun.

Felt the mice heads with grey wool onto polystyrene eggs. Felt the ears separately using a needle felting foam pad and then felt them onto the head. To make small eyes and snouts; felt for longer and towards the middle of the woollen dots.

Een gezellige Kerst

Uitgerolde Wood Clay uitgestanst met uitsteekvormen en gedecoreerd met 3D Liner.

Roll out Wood Clay (to an approx. 3mm thickness) and cut out the gingerbread men with the shape cutter. Remember to make a hole at the top for hanging before the gingerbread men are dry.

Bake the gingerbread men in the oven for one hour at 100°C. Turn them over after 30 minutes so that each side gets 30 minutes.

Take the gingerbread men out of the oven and place them on a piece of card for a moment to remove the last bit of damp from the clay. Thread a temporary piece of string through the hole and hang them us freely so they finish drying.

Decorate with a 3D-Liner and thread a decorative ribbon through the hole when the 3D-Liner is completely dry.

Mini Teddyberen om te decoreren

Kleine teddyberen gekleed in vilt, lint en tule. De teddies zijn op een brochespeld gelijmd.

A Pixie Girl

Cut a piece of ribbon measuring approx. 15cm and sew small tack stitches along one side. Gather until it measures approx. 5cm.

Put the skirt around the teddy’s waist and sew it on.

Double over a piece of ribbon measuring approx. 4cm. Sew together and tighten the thread around the middle to make a small bow. Glue this onto the teddy’s head.

Glue wings and a brooch back onto the reverse.

A Pixie Boy

Cut a piece of ribbon measuring approx. 10cm and tie it on as a scarf.

Cut a circle measuring approx. 2.5cm in diameter. Cut it in half.

Glue together to make a small cone, glue on a pom-pom and glue the hat onto the teddy’s head. Glue a brooch back onto the back of the teddy.

An Angel

Cut a piece of tulle measuring 15x3cm. Double over and sew tack stitches in the folded edge. Put the skirt around the teddy’s waist.

Glue a golden round jump ring onto a head pin.

Glue the halo onto the teddy’s back with the wings and the brooch back.

A Button Pixie

Cut a hat using the template and sew it together at the back.

Glue a pom-pom onto the hat and fold it halfway down. Glue the fold so it stays in place. Glue the finished hat onto the teddy.

Sew a piece of red thread in the button. Glue the button on the teddy and finally glue the brooch back on the back of the teddy.

Hangende rendierhoofden

Een eenvoudige hangende decoratie geknipt van Vivi Gade papier en opgehangen aan een stuk vlaskoord.

Draw the deer using the template. Cut two pieces.

Attach special double-sided adhesive tape onto the deer and assemble these around a piece of flax twine. You may make a tassel at the bottom of the string.

A Cone

Draw a cone using the template. Cut a handle measuring 25 x 1.5cm.

Cut out the shape from the template. Assemble the cone using special double-sided adhesive tape. Attach the handle and the deer shape using special double-sided adhesive tape.
