Lantaarnen met stro zijde papier

De glazen lantaarns zijn bedekt met stukjes gescheurd zijdepapier geplakt met VTR lijm. De lijnen zijn gemaakt met Window Color outliner of met 3D liner. Gedecoreerd met papiergaren en plastic kralen.

Tear straw silk paper into pieces and glue them onto the lantern using VTR adhesive.

Draw with a black Window Color outliner or a 3D liner.

NB

If the lanterns are intended to stand outside, we recommend they are varnished with decoupage lacquer for glass or with Paverpol Sculpting Medium.

Pompoenen van papier-mâché

De pompoenen zijn geverfd en gepatineerd met Plus Color acrylverf.

Paint one half of the pumpkin either with green or orange Plus Color (enabling you to hold on to a non-painted area). Here we have started with Eucalyptus green.

Paint orange Plus Color on top of the first layer of green paint on one side of the pumpkin (wet on wet) using an almost dry brush. You may smooth the paint with a little water on the brush. Then paint the other side of the pumpkin using the same procedure.

You may apply another coat of paint on top (a thin green coat of paint). The orange colour should still be visible.

Using a pointed brush, paint the grooves of the pumpkin with a mixture of the following Plus Color colours; chocolate, pumpkin and/or army green.

Now work with almost no paint on the brush and the colour army green. The colour underneath must shine through. Play with the colours on the pumpkin to make it look like the real thing!

Als het licht uit gaat …

Deze gloeiende geesten zijn eerst wit geverfd met Plus Color en daarna geverfd met “Glow in the Dark” lichtgevende verf dat oplicht als het licht uitgaat. Hoe meer lagen verf – hoe groter het effect … wooo-ooo! …

At the end draw faces and details with a black marker pen.

Dab with white Plus Color. Let it dry.

Een flexibele haarband

Een grappige haarband gedecoreerd met een tiara gemaakt van facetkralen en gedecoreerd met een verenboa.

Put beads onto the silver-plated wire, twist the wire, fastening it in the holes of the headband.

Twist the wire half a turn.

Repeat until you have five points.

Paint the headband.

Sprinkle glitter in the wet paint.

Glue on the feather boa.

A Crown for Boys

The boys can quickly make their own crowns by gluing f.ex. foam rubber onto the adjustable plastic band and subsequently cut to make points.

Coole glazen plaatjes

Deze glazen lijst met dubbel glas is zowel geschikt om op te hangen op de muur als in het raam. Verwijder voor het verven het glas uit de lijst.

Het vezelpapier en de hoeken van de lijst zijn gedecoreerd met foam stempels. Teken de contouren van de gestempelde motieven na met 3D liner en decoreer met spinnen en insecten. Zie hieronder ook andere combinaties.

Kinderen van Mars

Deze prachtige haaraccessoire is gemaakt met vormen geknipt uit slaapmat dat geverfd is met Plus Color acrylverf en bevestigd aan de haarbanden.

Cut out shapes from sleeping mat material.

2.

Paint the shapes with Plus Color Craft Paint.

3.

Glue the shapes together with hobby glue. (You may use a glue gun for the eye lashes).

4.

Make a coil from bonsai wire wrapped around a flower stick or a different round object.

5.

Wrap one end around the hair band.

6.

Glue the bonsai wire in place using a glue gun.

7.

Pull the shape onto the other end of the bonsai wire.

8.

Wrap the bonsai wire around.
